About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“49 cj2a willys jeep, great condition for the year, ran two years ego, solid frame great bones, all original, converted to 12 volt system, clean nj title, easy to work on all parts still available”
“I am selling a great piece of American history here. Brand new steel m38 body. Frame off restoration. Flat 4 cylinder bored 30 over. Purrs like a kitten and cranks like a brand new one. Custom made bumpers and the whole body has a freshly done vinyl wrap. This is a nice jeep! Jeep has not seen mud in 25 years and the body never has. Brand New windshield too.”
This might have a DJ-3A Convertible body on a CJ chassis. While the dash is missing the large speedo, a gauge plate has been installed over that area of the dash. There’s no fuel inlet on the side, but Steve spotted the one in the rear (I missed it). It’s got the correct style of VIN tag to be a DJ-3A.
“Jeep tub has motor tranny axles wheels as in pic
have to be honest not sure if cj1-cj3 which?”
“All there except carb(I’d get a Weber) and rear driveshaft. Ford ts 1.6. (Pinto engine super nice in these!!)The clutch and adapter kit are all new. Clear nonop title in my name.”
“53’ Jeep Willy 8 cly. Hasn’t been started in about a year. It used to run fine but now the engine seems to shake a little bit. Interior and exterior in great condition.”
“FOR SALE: 1950 Willys CJ3A, Ford 289 out of a mustang cobra, 3 speed w/ an overdrive, new tires and wheels, no tears or rips in the seats, fresh carpet in the back, brand new advance adapters steering box conversion kit makes this a completely streetable willys. Did not want an obnoxious stereo and deck so I installed a hidden Bluetooth receiver and a small hidden amp to power (2) 6×9 speakers in the back. Asking $11,000”
Mark shared the news that the First Annual Jeep Nationals in Kentucky will be giving away a CJ-3A for the price of a $10.88 raffle ticket. You can buy tickets online through the website until November 1,2020. The drawing will be held November 8, 2020.
The ticket price of $10.88 makes for a great deal, but note that the body appears to have had some work on it.

“Restored, complete and going perfectly. Licensed and insured, titled.
Mileage unsure. About 10k miles since restoration.
Restored to roadworthy condition.
One issue – it has a paint problem – that will require a repaint. A base coat is not adhering correctly.
Converted to 12V. ”
