About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a very original Jeep. Very little rust in the floors as it was a California Jeep. This has a Buick 225 V6 and 11″ brakes, but is otherwise all stock. Warn Bellview style power in upright winch that works great. Brand new 32″ Les Schwab mud terrains tires. They still have the nubs on them. Rancho new lift springs and shocks. All lights and blinkers work. This Jeep runs and drives great. Just purchased new battery.”
“I have a 3B jeep prolect that I have been coloecting parts for about 4 years now and it seems that I wont be able to get to it for quite a while so I am thinking about getting rid of it. I am not hurting for money so now low ball offers. Here is what I have: New steel tub with a stamped hood, Grill and tailgate. Front and rear seats, new painless wiring harness, CJ fuel tank.
The running gear has all been rebuilt and never ran, Over $10k spent on the front and rear ends, transfer case and transmission. The axles are high pionion dana 44’s with detriot lockers with 4:88 gears and disc brakes all around. High knuckle steering. It has a 18 transfer case with a warn overdrive and I have both drive lines. It has a Chevy 350 with a turbo 350 trans. I have most everything for the motor including custom stainless headers. I have a bunch of misc. stuff that all goes with it. I have a clear WA title also.”
Floors patched with wood. It includes a warn overdrive.
“’53 Willys CJ-3B
Good old CJ Jeep and the Last year of the REAL Willys Overland before Kaiser bought them.
Runs and drives great!! Motor is from a 1972 Pinto, 2.0 and very very solid.
Otherwise its pretty original:
Trans and transfer case are original and also in great shape. Suspension, Brakes, body, motor, trans, 4wd all in good shape.
Need to see to appreciate and go for a drive around the back yard. 4lo 4hi and 2hi as well as a WARN overdrive.
Floors have been replaced with wood and are solid, body is solid.
I have a Title for it!!
Could use a new hood and some paint.
Bikini top only, lost indoor storage for it so hate to sell it but have no choice.
I would take a trade for a really nice sport bike or a clean Miata but mostly interested in cash. Pretty FIRM on price but cash talks

“One of a kind, very rare, the ultimate show jeep but built to crawl. This jeep is brand new from the ground up. Original 1955 cj-3b body on cj-5 frame. Built AMC 304 (tons of torque), Automatic 3 speed w/chetta speed shifter, high stall torque converter, wrapped headers with dual exhaust, remote transmission cooler. 35-10.5-15 micki thompsons on American racing rims, custom center console with all new gauges, split shift dana to control front and rear diffs indepently. It has less than 1000 miles on this beast (still has the fuzzies on theU tires). Drives straight down the road at 65 mph. This jeep was built to show and has never even seen a dirt road. I have all the sponsor sheets from the previous owner. The jeep was appraised in July 2011 (for insurance) and received 100 out of 100 points at $35,000. I have the original build sheets showing over $20k in parts alone, not including the parts I have added. Search the internet and you will not find another of this type that even comes close. No reasonable offer will be refused. I hate to see it go because I know I will not own another vehicle of this caliber. I can’t take it anywhere without someone asking for a picture. Nothing has been untouched. This vehicle is insured through state farm for the full 35k, they would not do this unless they knew it was truly worth every penny. 25,000 obo. or possible trade for newer, low mileage Toyota Tacoma or 4door rubicon.
“1954 cj3-b project, lots of time and money into this one. Narrowed dana 60 front end and narrowed corporate 14 bolt rear end, power 4 way disc brakes, cross over steering, detroit lockers front and rear, new sheet metal, sm 465 4 speed and a dana 300 transfer case, new drive lines, small block chevrolet , new aluminum radiator,4 new rubicon express spring over springs, and much more. All body work done ready for paint. This is a project, its not a runner yet,its about 70% done, needs someone with more motivation and time than I have for it. $7500 Thanks for looking”
“1953 CJ3b with body in very good condition. Very little rust in this Jeep. Floor has been replaced with new panel so no rust. Running gear in good shape Dana 44 rear and 25 front. No motor, trans, or transfer case. Good wheels with almost new all terrain tires”
