About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Restored, Over the past 6 years I have rebuilt or gone through everything but the front axel. Transmission and Transfer Case where rebuilt last summer, as long as new clutch and flywheel resurfaced. A lot of the parts used in the restoration where NOS. Flooring was replaced 5 years ago and has no known rust. Has the original Hurricane F-134 engine. Jeep is currently wrapped with Mosey Oak Brush Country. Current Rims are Black.
Last summer we towed the Jeep to Colorado and spent 7 days touring the backcountry. Had no issues making 12,000 feet with her. Clear title.
Sam, from Flat Fender Willys, has done a large amount of work on this rig, including the installation of a rack and pinion that makes the steering very tight and responsive. This also has a custom dash that tilts forward. Sam would have painted this too, but the seller’s family wanted to keep it mis-matched because they liked the character. If you are interested in a solid, daily driver, this is worth a look.
““1960 CJ3B – V6, 3sp, soft top, bikini top, runs great, no smoke great compression and can be used as a daily driver. Lots of fun! Must see to appreciate all that has gone into this rare Willy’s model Jeep. 2010 full custom rebuild is 90% complete. Here is the short list:
Body – 1960 CJ3B not perfect but the family likes it that way and won’t let me make it shiny.
Chassis – CJ5 chassis,
Mechanical – Buick V6, 3 speed manual, rebuilt transfer case, new clutch, clutch fork, clutch plate and bearings, rebuilt wheel hubs, bearings, new parts and lines from master cylinder to each wheel master cylinder, installed emergency brake, 3” lift with new suspension, shackles, pins, bushings, center bolts, U-joints, and shocks, starter, plugs, wires, wiper blades, new dual exhaust and thrush mufflers, custom built 18 gallon fuel tank, lines, pump and filters. New starter, one of a kind custom rack & pinion system by “Unisteer” with tilt steering column. Nice tread on all (5) 32×11.50 BFG mud and snow tires mounted and balanced on old school Outlaw I aluminum 15×8 wheels.
Electrical– New starter, electrical fuse block, gages, distributor, wiring, dash, instrument panel, speakers, electronic ignition, extra 12 volt charging outlets, emergency flashers, bulbs etc… plugs, wires.
Interior – All New, custom bulkhead, floor covering, roll bar, three point seat belts front and back, new front sliding bucket seats, new rear bench seat with head rests, new soft top windows, new custom bikini top to cover all passengers, wall to wall black carpeting, custom wall panels, new shifter boots and knobs.. Only thing left to do is a little body sanding, paint.“
“This vechile is rust free. When refurbished all electrical componets were rebuilt, brakes, shocks, muffler cooling system and mechanical items were gone thru and refurbished / replaced. Tires, top and interior seats are new.
The mileage is unknown.
Everything works.
Engine is a 4 cylinder flat head (original). 3 speed transmission and 4 wheel drive.
This vehicle is not perfect but it is very close.”
Unclear if this runs or not, but sounds like it would make a good jeeping jeep.
“Willys jeep has Buick 3.8 v6, front axle dana 25 posi, rear axle dana 44 posi full floating, dana 18 double stick t case, sm 465 tranny, headers exhaust, aluminum edelbrock intake and carb, new thornbird tires lots of stuff done to it”
“I have a small pile of NOS Willys parts ranging from the 1940’s to 1950’s. there are a total of 66 different part numbers , and 225 plus total parts by count. also included are 5 parts catalogs . I have a list of all the part numbers. the parts are assorted engine, suspension and misc small parts. there is no sheet metal, body parts, or anything bulky. the parts are in SW Minnesota. delivery to the Mpls area is offered, with the stipulation that half the money be paid in advance (non-refundable) and the balance due at time of delivery. any further questions, call 507-327-9544 thanks”
“This Willys CJ3B is mostly original except for the engine, which is a rebuilt 231 V6 that runs great. It has a T90 three speed transmission and Dana 18 transfer case. One downside is that the transmission needs some work . The tires are in good shape and the stock axles have 5:38 gears. The body is in very good condition as is the windshield glass. This is a good, solid project with a lot of potential that already has a good start — mostly just needs some tinkering. Don’t really need to sell , but don’t have the time for it, and maybe someone else can enjoy this old gem.”
“CJ3B all original. CJ3B front end and tall boy hurricane motor runs as smooth as a sewing machine, excellent condition. New exhaust, complete new brakes. CJ3A body, rough. Frame, driveline, transfer case, in good condition but slips out of 3rd gear on occasion. I have the title. Please contact through email and if you include your phone number I will call back right away.”
This runs and drives. I suspect it won’t last long at this price.
“Motor runs like a sewing machine and all 4×4 works great. Fresh tires!

“I am selling my 1953 Willys CJ3B. The price is listed fair and I am firm on it. I purchased for close to what I am listing it for and I have purchased alot of new parts for it, so I dont feel out of line asking what I am asking for it. Also I am not any any huge hurry to sell so please dont try and get me to budge on my price… I hope I dont come off as being rude, I just dont want to waste my time with answeing questions and showing it to people that dont have cash on hand or want to try to low ball me… I am interested in trading for a few different things Truck camper, camp trailer, fifthwheel trailer, or sandrail. I might be interested in other things, let me know what you have and maybe we can work something out…

“Willy’s CJ3B with F-head 4 Cylinder. Drivetrain is still in the jeep but engine needs rebuilt. I was going to do a small block or v6 swap, but too busy with another project. Comes with a second mostly complete CJ3B that has a rebuildable drivetrain, but the body is a mess. I also have a complete soft top and several sets of doors. There’s a 3rd F-head block and head. Tires are 31-10.50’s, but only 1 or 2 hold air. Body is straight very little rust.”
