About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Old Willys, it has the original flat head The motor was rebuilt and at the most it had 5000 miles on it it has just been parked , it would make a great project car I would trade it for and older motor home or a car that runs good as well”
This may be a good price. It’s listed near Reno, but the map on Craiglist shows it along the border of Kansas and Oklahoma. I’m guessing the map is wrong.

“Two items for sale, different prices. Sorry, no part outs. I do not reply to texts or email. Phone calls only, leave a voice message and I’ll call you back. Thanks.
1. 1948 CJ2A rolling chassis: this is the “late” ’48 frame, thicker steel, same frame used for CJ3A and CJ3B. Steers, brakes work, trans and transfer work, radiator, this would make a great chassis to build your old Jeep project on. Front crossmember has been modified, new repro front crossmember included. $950
2. CJ3B: this sale includes the 3B body tub, windshield frame, hood, fenders and grill. Tub is rough with rust, dents bondo, other sheet metal in pretty good shape overall. $750″

A must see. Make sure you scroll through all pics to see how versatile this rare Collectors Jeep it really is”

Warden overdrive, stock 3 speed tranny, stock transfer case, stock frt and rear differentials, Crome wheels. Extras: 5 stock wheels, 3 speed tranny and transfer case, hood, windshield and 2 fenders, tilt steering column, 5 more gas tanks ( 1 is for the passenger side). Needs: tires, power steering, tail lights, Runs great and drives.”
“1953 Willys CJ3B for sale. Completely rebuilt with new steel body. Rebuilt 225 V6 with new Comp cam. Heads have hardened seats and Chevy dual valve springs. It has all new valves, lifters, and adjustable pushrods. New aluminum radiator and HEI distributor. Rebuilt 3-speed auto with rebuilt Dana 18 transfer case. New brakes and wheel cylinders on 11″ brakes. Homebuilt emergency brakes to keep it road legal. 5.38 gear ratio with Warn hubs front and rear. Top speed is 60 mph and anything over I would consider dangerous. I built it to go play in the sand but never made it. Not safe on the freeway but should be fine just wheeling in town. It has new full set of gauges and a full roll cage. New spare tire mounted in the back so no room for back seat. Genuine German Jerry can. Home made aluminum tool box also in the back. The Willys is painted CAMO with good urethane paint; not rattle can. I fabricated lot of stuff on here so it’s a little different. PS, PB, and bikini top. Have tow bar but not mounted. It has small oil leaks here and there so don’t park on a clean driveway.”

“I’m looking to sell my 1953 CJ3b fire/crash truck. I do not have a title for it but have an old registration. No data plate either. Started off life as a civilian CJ3b but was turned into a military M-606 for the US Navy. The motor turns by hand, but needs a starter. I have a new Landcruiser starter in a box that will fit it. Sheet metal is real solid minus rear floor. Hat channels are good exterior metal is nice, mostly rear floor from the dry chemical powder being on it. Continue reading →
