About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Might be some good parts here to go over. Not sure I can get to $1200 but parts is parts.
Information from seller:
Willys Jeep CJ3B parts Jeep. Rough body but good frame, axles, top bows and other good parts. Two extra transmission and transfer cases as well as extra wheels also go with. Non-running flathead (not F-head) engine in unknown condition. No title. Sold as parts only.
This would be in my truck on the way home from work if I was near by. Unless you see it run assume the worse case it does not , it’s 300 Willys Bucks not going break the budget either way.
I have all these engines and I call then cores, been all over NY, NJ, PA for them and never once did I try to turn one over or start anything, I think that’s a bad idea for this old iron.
Others want to see if it spins, some sellers want to show you that it runs, one time that actually took me over 18 months from the time I made contact till the time I bought the engine. They wanted to show me it ran, and I said sure I will come down and help get it running, my schedule and the sellers schedule never aligned but we talked say every 6 months kept in touch. Eventually bought it and yeah unfortunately never saw it run. It’s on the short list when I get fully in to the new building to at least get it running. Its a pump motor set up with an F134 on a run stand of sorts.
Guess we are doing Blue Jeeps in the NE today! But this is a head turner, nice restoration, wonder if they would sell it if my intentions were to toss a plow and hard top on this one and use it! Probably not is my guess. But is really nice did a great job on this one.
Information from seller:
Detailed restoration. Original engine and drivetrain. Everything rebuilt or new except transfer case.
This was posted on OWF yesterday, so might as well cross post it here. Photos are fuzzy please do not adjust your screens.
Information from seller:
1954 Willys CJ 3B 4×4 Matching numbers. Been in a barn for 33 years. Was originally parked for a carburetor issue. Old man died before he got around to fixing it. I’m not attached to it.
Koenig hard top for CJ3B. I believe it will also fit a CJ3A(or a 2A with a 3A windshield) by removing the door adapters. All hardware is present. No rot, all glass is present. This will fit in the back of a pickup truck. Keep out of the rain with a period correct hard top! Will trade for a soft top setup for a CJ3B.
1954 Jeep CJ-3b Runs excellent. 6 volt, 134 F-head. 3 speed manual. New battery, wheel bearings, master cylinder, and brakes. New carburetor, with old one included. Looks to be all original drivetrain. Frame good, body is ok, patches. Has transferable registration. Plow works, can be removed.
