About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Got this project passed on to me a few months ago and I just don’t have the time or money to put into it. It is basically a rolling chassis with a few extra pieces and parts. It has the original drivetrain but I’m not sure if any of it works. The front end is all there but fenders will need to be replaced. I just need to get rid of it and get it out of the yard. $500 OBO”
“Here is a 55 Willys Jeep, original 4 cylinder with hi-lo transfer case, warn hubs, Dana 60. Ugly but very solid, only surface rust nothing through. Currently not running, great project for someone else, I have too many”
“1961 Willis Jeep 350 small block with Willis trans and running gear.custom dash runs and drives, comes with original four cylinder and trans. No trades and scammers I have guns so beware”
Nick named the “Beer Runner”, the builder of this jeep made an effort to do something a little different.

(12/14/2017) This is a neat jeep. It’s a Navy ordered CJ-5. It appears to have a gov plate attached to the dash. It includes a ventilating windshield. Looks like the passenger rear side has been patched.
“1965 Naval Military Jeep is one of 600 made. Most are not running. This jeep was owned by Russell Dees Military Vehicles and I now own it. I just had Knico engines in Moultrie Ga do the rebuild on this 4cyl engine that has warranty. I had Hayman’s Garage Albany Ga put new clutch, brakes, brake lines, alternator, water pump, radiator, hoses, belts and new gas tank and ignition . The body is in good condition with only a spot of surface rust here and there. Tires are almost new . A rare opportunity to own a collectable part of military history.”
It’s project. I can’t tell if this has Kelly or Cutlas hubs.

I was given this project many years ago and just don’t have the time and money to complete it. You won’t find a frame this old in better condition.
“It is a Original 1955 willy jeep Cj5. The box under the passenger side is rusted and one of the front fenders, but other than that the body is in good shape. It will need a new top. The jeep runs, but the brakes and drive train will need to be serviced. It has a PTO with two attachments one was used to run a belt that ran a saw and the other a winch. It has a winch on the front and a brake lock system. Willy’s Hurricane engine 4 cylinder. It is rare to find one of these jeeps unmolested and with a PTO. $4,000”
This might have a set of Free-Lock hubs. It’s listed as a CJ-3.
“I have for sale a 1958 cj3 with a buick v-6 motor, original tranny & transfer case, and runs out pretty good. It has new seats, brakes, carb, and needs some more tlc. This is a rig that will run & drive while you add your finishing touches.”
