This is an unusual hunting jeep setup.
“Willys Jeep Texas Title four wheel drive works runs good has 4 cylinder smokes a little bit ready to go hunting or play in the mud”
There appears to be some value here.
“Titled 1961 cj5. It rolls but engine was pulled due to spun bearing. I have a new Novak adapter kit for adapting jeep trans to mustang 4 cyl. Also includes bell housing, motor mounts, clutch, and engine. Engine is no good though. Original paint. Great patina. Fold down windshield. Needs front floor due to rust, but could be used the way it is. Could also use a passenger side fender.(someone drilled about 50 holes to pull a dent) I believe the rear seat is from a newer cj. All wiring is intact. Solid under diamond plating. Was on the road in the early 90’s. Needs master cylinder then brakes should work. Great project jeep. Must see.”
A reader’s son has this one for sale.
“1971 CJ 5 jeep. Engine has been rebuilt. Wiring is brand new.
Runs very well! It didn’t have a back seat when I bought it, so I bought one but haven’t put it in yet. I also have some chrome pieces, bikini top, and some other pieces.
There are no holes in it. 4wd works great.
I also have an 8500 lb winch and some snow tires and rims I am selling in different posts that would work with this.”
Craig spotted this one. There seems to be $500 of value here.
“1956 Willys Jeep for parts or restore, was running ,tub rusted out. Drivetrain complete”
If the body is solid, there’s value here.
“Engine and all parts r sitting loose inside the hood strictly as is
4 cylinder engine
Texts preferred cash only
Bring a trailer or I can help arrange delivery once I get paid”
This might be worth a closer look.
“Selling my 1963 Willys Jeep. Garage kept, good shape. I have the title in hand. Motor is great just needs a fuel pump. Feel free to call or text with any questions.”
This may be worth a look.
“1957 Willy’s Jeep
*No title because of age*
Manual – 3 on the tree
Engine – AMC V8, most likely 327ci
Bought this Jeep with the intent of working on it and restoring it. I’ve had it almost a year and haven’t touched it and it’s taking up space. The transmission makes some noise in first, but reverse, second, and third are all good. The V8 under the hood runs strong and has a lot of pick up to it. Headlights and taillights work. I also have the complete hard top for it along with doors. Hardtop and doors are in great condition with only a little surface rust. As for the tub, it has some holes in the floors and could use some work. Tires and rims are in good condition. Front bumper is beefed up and could easily hold a plow. Seats have minor tears in them, nothing major. Windshield would need to be replaced if the goal is to drive this on the street, has some pretty big cracks on the passenger side.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This may be more solid than it first appears.
1963 Willy’s Jeep
Hurricane Engine 2.3
new ignition
no rust.
every part this jeep will ever need can be ordered from JC Whitney. http://www.jcwhitney.com/
1500 firm cash deal. no trades. will have to be towed. needs tires. motor runs well. I will not take 1499 or less, the drive axle alone is worth 1000.00″
Runs and drives. Looks solid, too.
Here is a pretty good shape, straight body jeep. It has a 4 cylinder engine that runs, 3 speed transmission and model 18 transfer case. the huge winch on the front is a PTO style. It has a back seat, nice tail gate, roll bar, and a very rare dual fuel tank set up under the front seats. How many of those have you seen? This has clean title and is registered until January of 2017.”
