About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

If you need 2 CJ-5 parts jeeps, these might foot the bill.
“I have 2 CJ5s for sale; the pictured one is complete, but is a project (will need a new bucket). The second one has no body, and the engine has seized and been torn down when I got it; that engine is on an engine stand that will go with them. I believe I have enough running gear parts for the second to be complete. I have 3 windshield frames (glass is there but cracked), and 2 grills. I am looking to clear some space in the garage and just do not have time to work on these. I have clear title on one of them, no title for the second.”
“Great condition…runs like a top..new upholstery,. new chrome, original hardtop(very rare), new battery, no rust. I will deliver for a price 4×4 , jeep ,off road, rock crawler, willy , willy’s.”
“Mostly original Jeep Cj5 Jeep-a-trench. Body is pretty solid, some rust mainly around hat channels. Half cab w/ pass door only. F-head with governer. (could use carb kit – floods out occasionally) breaks could use some work. Trencher seems to work as it should. Hydraulic creeper drive works great. Open to offers, would rather not put it on ebay. Thanks for looking,”
A reader named Randy has this CJ-5 for sale. He’s just completed a CJ-7 rebuild and now wants to work on an old Jeep. Naturally, he blames eWillys for his new interest in an old Jeep project 🙂
“1973 CJ5 No title. 304 V-8, 3 speed, stock dana 44 rear end. Fenders and hood removed to start a rock crawler project but lost interest. No top, doors, seats. Tub was about half sanded and now has surface rust but in good shape. You will have to come get it and be able to load it. It is located in Abilene Texas. $950 CASH only. ***If you can read this it’s available I’ll delete ad when it sells.”
This has a nice top if nothing else. Sounds like the seller might make a good deal.
“1958 Jeep Willys CJ-5 Older restoration. Needs someone that loves these things. 4cyl, 3 speed, 4wd. lots of rust, mostly all original. Make me an offer or trade.”
Here’s a nice looking Tuxedo Mark IV CJ-5 out of Tucson.
“Up for sale is a 1966 Jeep CJ5A Tuxedo Park Mark IV model. In 1966 there were only 1190 of these upscale sporty CJ5’s made which makes it somewhat of a rare desireable model. This Tuxedeo comes with many of the stock factory options such as the chrome front and rear bumpers, tail lamps, windshield hinges and hood latches, Tuxedo hood badges, hubcaps that sport the “Jeep” emblem, tranny column shift, drop down rear license plate holder, etc. Some of the optional factory equipment are the factory body steps, two stage front and rear leaf springs, single lever transfer case shifter, rear back seat, etc. Some of the non-stock equipment are the front high back seats, roll bar, heater, spring shackles, tires and rims. It has the original 4 cyl. engine that runs good but smokes a little. The 4 wheel drive works good, no issues. The body is in overall good shape considering it’s age. It has some minor rust issues in the normal rust areas that Jeeps get (photos illustrate areas) but overall minor and easily repairable. The body floor boards and hat channels are very solid and in great shape, as the vehicle has spent all of it’s life in southern California and southern Arizona. Vehicle does not come with a title. It was last titled and registered in California, but I never got around to titling or registering in Arizona therefore it will come with the California paperwork from last owner and a notorized Bill of Sale from me. I really hate to sell this rare Jeep considering the many years I looked for a nice easy restorable Tuxedo Park, but due to family health issues I am forced to sale it. Vehicle is sold in as is condition, no warranty expressed or implied. $3000 obo. If you have any questions please feel free to call Ernie @ 520-444-0632.”
This runs and has a PTO, but obviously needs some work.
“1962 Jeep CJ5 4 cylinder. This jeep was a project, due to my health issues I am no longer able to work on it, Has a PTO and parts, motor runs, but does smoke it has a new fuel pump and master cylinder, it was an AG jeep, total milage16,374, has clear title, $1,200 OBO.”
