Blaine spotted this CJ-5 with a factory V8 at Ecola St. Park along the Coast of Oregon. The angle top is pretty rare, though it could use some retightening.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
It doesn’t run, but there may be some value.
“1960 Willys Jeep CJ5 $ 650.00 Clear Wisconsin title 4 cyl engine. Very rare original top. 15″ tires. Two radiators 99% complete. Front original bumper. Original seats. Always had top on. Headlight buckets and covers are in a box. Repairable.”
Original Renegade stripes and color (though faded). I believe the rims are original too. However, the bumper looks like a swim ramp.
“Must have for rock climbing!! This jeep has only 41,000 original miles on it. Put a new fully enclosed BEST top on it now a year old. Runs great does need some TLC. Minor rust spots, carb. could use a cleaning, other minor fix-ups. We bought as a project car from original owner and don`t have the time it deserves. This is one great collectors item they don`t have any like this around.

This price looks good. This runs and drives and has a PTO, but the 4wd doesn’t work. Also, this seems a bit late for a split windshield.
“1961 Willys Overland Jeep CJ5- 2.2L F Head 4 Cyl, T90 three speed transmission, Dana 25/27 differentials, 4×4 with high and low gears (4 wheel drive is not operable at the moment but drives in low or high gear). Also, has a built in PTO. Bolt on towing hitch for hauling places with tow lights. This Jeep is a classic piece of Jeep History. Vehicle can be restored or driven as is. Runs and drives good. New Battery and just recieved the new brake master cylinder.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500
The Commando front end on a CJ-5 is a rare mod.
“Jeep for sale, I think it is from around 67, Has Jeepster front with CJ rear, F head engine, Has not run in years, All running gear is present, has locking hubs, Great for parts! Will trade for farm equipment”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1250.
There appears to be value in both of these.

UPDATE: Eric shared some early pictures of his work.
This summer my cousin Eric bought a CJ-2A in Idaho and trucked it back to his new home in Enumclaw. This was his first jeep and it has been disassembled, now awaiting assembly. It seems the Willys but has bit him, because he while waiting to assemble his CJ-2A, he bought a 1978 CJ-5 project that needed some cosmetic work. He recently got that together and it looks pretty good. I really like the copper color. Between our busy schedules I have yet to see this in person, but I hope to soon.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
Buz forwarded this nice looking CJ-5.
“This little jeep came from the dry desert & was a 95% rust free vehicle before total restoration began. It has the original 4cyl inline engine that runs like a top. I have more pics that
I can email upon request.
Or you’re welcome to call for appt & come out to my house & take a look for yourself.
$7500. (May consider some sort of sa trade-in, if that’ll help you)
It would cost over $10k to get this professional type work done on this jeep if you were to hire it out. It looks better than new in every aspect, including under the hood.”
