“1951 Willys complete engine overhaul just finished. This Willy runs like its new. Its a 3 speed 4X4 with high and low diff. I converted it to a hunting rig 2 years ago and used it for one hunting season. It has been stored for the last year and a half until I decided to sell it. A total engine overhaul was completed last week and it runs great. It has new heavy duty shocks, new springs with extra leafs to support the high rack and the tires are in great shape as well as the spare.. My dad and I built the high rack and installed some really comfortable pickup seats up top. There is a power port up top for a spotlight. It has a tow bar and is wired with a harness for lights while towing. This is a great vehicle for hunting. It can be picked up in Ft Worth Texas. Cash only”

“Call keith @ 517-580-3603, no e-mails.”
This stock looking CJ-5 with a great half cab has some cool hubcaps and some early formula desert dogs. This might just be the last jeep you’ll see with both hubcaps & desert dogs. This appears to have the early CJ-5 reversed front springs, too. I like it.
“Very solid steel cab on rough body. Plow is Full Hydraulic Up-Down and Left-Right from Inside Cab and is 6 1/2 ft. wide. Engine is 232 straight six cylinder, three speed on floor. Runs like a tank, Very strong, Very low overall gear ratios. Will deliver, per mile rate. Call: two six O / four one O / six five O one.”
This looks like a good price.

(08/19/2010) This looks like a good price for a CJ-5 in the Boise area.
“1957 CJ5 JEEP 327 SBC WARN OVERDRIVE GOOD CONDITION $2500 OBO CALL”
This includes a plow.
“hello selling my CJ5 86xxx original miles clean title RUNS & DRIVES. needs body work like any original car of this era.. i have both hard top and soft top NEW not used only little dirty for sitting around,, tires in very good condition not new but almost like it, I also have a extra cylinder head .4cl engine. comes with SnowPlow. dont get wrong idea for the pic in tow truck it does run and drive STARTS RIGHT UP AND IN THE FIRST TRY. i used it to show the plow it off the jeep right now cuse it wont fit in the garage.”
This runs and drives, but needs some work. The body is fiberglass.
“I bought this Jeep as a project about 2 years ago. I just don’t have the time or the money to put into it right now. The entire drive train and frame are original but the tub has been replaced with a fiberglass one. The original frame numbers are gone; there is an engine number but it’s too faded to make out which is why I can only narrow it down to a 55′-65′ CJ-5. It has a 134ci “Hurricane” F-head which runs and drives well. It also has dana 44 axles with 5.38 gears. What it needs: a new gas tank, the old one was too rusted away to salvage luckily this is only $100 from JC Whitney. A carburetor rebuild, kit is $8 if you can do it yourself, only $134 for new carburetor. And lastly the brakes need to be replaced. The catch is that I do not have a title for it. I bought it from a farmer who only used it on his land for the last 20 years and he bought it from a guy who also didn’t have the title. It can easily be retitled with a hobbyist plate, it involves a little more work but would be worth it. I haven’t titled it because it has just been a project thus far.”
