Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Listed as a 1974, this is a 1956-1963 CJ-6. I see no data plate that indicates this was ever in the military. Strangely, a dummy head appears in a few of the shots.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $1000. This CJ-6 has export VIN plates suggesting it was originally supposed to be exported.

Colorado Title: Clear Colorado Title ready to sign and hand over to the buyer. Goes with the VIN.
Export Plate: The export plate that I am referring to has English, Spanish & French on it. I don’t know what its called. I simply call it the “export plate.” Pictures can be seen with this ad. The original export plate was damaged, so I paid to have it remade and it came out wonderfully. I have only seen this plate on 1 or 2 jeep (pictures) in Europe. I have not seen it in the USA. Rare. (10/19/2020) This nice looking CJ-6 is owned by the original owner. It has been repainted and there are a few minor mods. The rear bumper is something I don’t remember seeing on a jeep.
