This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1956 Willys Jeep CJ-6. Vin# 10046 (yes its #46). F134 engine, T90 transmission and 18 transfer case. Runs, Drives and has good brakes. Working parking brake, 4WD works, original working KS 0-8 speedo, Warn locking hubs, BFG All terrain KO2 235/85-16s. Smittybuilt rear seat, Besttop front seat covers. Has working heater with fan, all lights and turn signals work. Clean title. It has a few beauty marks and little bit of rust in the usual places. Some small oil leaks. No out of state shipping, No money orders. No Paypal. No Sending codes. Cash in person only.”

This hasn’t run in a while. Has a power converter on the dash.

“1974 CJ6. Chevy 350 built motor with Holly fuel injection. Motor and 700r transmission are fresh. On 35s with a 4” lift. Rhino liner exterior. It is a 95% completed, off-frame restoration that I’ve lost interest in. Will be an every day driver with a windshield, a little brake work, steering linkage and a rollbar. Also have a 304 on an engine stand and three 3-speed transmissions with transfer case if you want it back to stock. $12,000 for everything. No trades. Clear title in hand.”

“Hello, I have a 1962 Willy’s CJ6 for sale. This is the long wheelbase jeep of its time. Unlike the CJ5, the tub is much wider and longer on the CJ6. It has the original hurricane L134 engine and stock 3 speed transmission with 4×4 and aftermarket locking hubs. I have owned it about 5 years and it has come a long way since I purchased it. It has new 31x15x12.5 Dick Cepek Extreme country, 2.5 inch wheel spacers, steering stabilizer, re- upholstered seats and added back seat, rebuilt steering column, new clutch, new starter, new alternator, fresh battery, updated fuse panels to bladed fuse instead of old glass fuse, rebuilt carburetor, new seatbelts, new gas tank, KC dual lights, tow bar. It has been registered and street legal for 5 years now with clean title. It used to be classic plates but is regular plates now. I am asking $8,000 obo.”
