About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Yes! You read it right! This is a factory CJ6 — NOT a 5, or a 7, a 6 from California. This is one of few. VERY RARE. And the oldest and only Jeep I’ve ever owned that has ZERO rust! Factory V6. PTO wench. 3 speed. Everything mechanically works great except the brakes will need gone through. Priced as is. On the back burner for now. As I do more, the price will go up. Comes with extra hood and original safari top. Not interested in trades unless totally in my favor. Prefer to sell. Serious inquiries only, please.”
“What I have for sale is a gutted (NO ENGINE, NO TRANSMISSION, NO TITLE) 1966 Jeep CJ6 for parts only. I’m asking $2,500 OBO. Please email for phone number so we can discuss further.”
“1963 CJ-6 built by Kaiser Body is bad, frame is decent, no holes. 4×4 works great, Hurricane 4 cyl, 3 speed manual, new radiator. Soft top in okay shape, heat works good. Titled/insured, will drive anywhere anytime”
“1956 Cj6 Jeep with newer hard top. Includes doors with crank windows and locking tailgate.
original F head drive train and 3 spd tranny. converted to 12V. not military- I just liked the olive drab look. kept maintained but not restored”
“I have a 63 cj6 I would like to sell. I traded my labor for it. From what I have found out it sits on a 78 wagoner frame, 3.8 v6 engine and transmission from a camero. 4 speed manual transmission. It does have a soft top but I have never had it on. I store it in my garage.”
“Doesn’t currently run. Fuel line and battery are not hooked up. Unknown engine condition. Have the title. Will need some work, please see the pictures but in good shape for sitting. Must be able to pick up. Cash only. Can send more photos if needed.”
“A jeep with magazine history . Was sponsored in offroad magazine. Power plant is a 302 Ford. Automatic trans. Aluminium radiator. Lifted on 35 inch tires . Complete rhino lining inside jeep. duel shocks at all corners . Drives good .”
“Rare 1973 Jeep CJ6. One owner, good condition, v8, power steering, long wheel base, 3 speed manual transmission. Great hunting Jeep with elevated bench seat.”
“I’m selling my 1975 Jeep CJ6. It’s a great Jeep with the reliable 258 I6 engine. It has about 50k miles since rebuilt. The transmission is a 3 speed with a new clutch kit that’s 1 year old.
Factory Disc Brake Setup
New Smittybilt Rear Seat
The body is a little beat here and there. The door opening on the passenger side was modified at one time. The frame has many reinforcements from the past owner. It’s a great Jeep but I have too many.”
“Mostly original – 4cyl hurricane engine, 3 spd transmission, front lock/unlock hubs, 6V, minimal rust. HARD TOP with glass in-tact. Matching spare wheel. Engine bay reasonably clean, engine and drive train needs solid cleaning. Runs well and starts every time.
I bought this as project sight unseen. Was going to resto-mod it but I can’t bring myself to hack into and part out something this original. It is truly great condition considering its age. Last owner put $1500+ into normal repairs back in May of 2019. I had it shipped out here and have slowly been poking around at it but have not started doing anything major.
Details: Gauges not working, 6 volt (although new battery), wiring has had a few things added but it is mostly original. Tires hold air but are not road-worthy. 26485 on the ODO but it isn’t working. This is a perfect Willys for someone looking for a super vintage restoration.
Currently clean titled in Colorado. Pink slip in hand. Asking $9000 OBO. Also interested in trades for other Willys / Jeep / etc. If you are at all interested please send me an email. I have a few Jeep projects underway so I’m looking to make a deal!”
