This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (12/28/2023) If you are seeking a stock, clean CJ-6, this might be worth a look. Given the 0-9 KS Speedometer, this might be a fairly early 1st-year CJ-6.

“1966 Jeep CJ6
3 years since body-off resto mod. The CJ6 is a 20” stretch of the CJ5 body tub and is the predecessor to the CJ8 Scrambler.
Buick Dauntless V6 (rebuilt 2019, bored 0.030 over, decked, hardened valve seats installed with valve job on head rebuild) Advance Adapters headers/dual glasspacks/3” chrome turnout tips.
Borg Warner T86 3-speed manual plus Warn Overdrive (makes it a 6 speed)
Twin-stick Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 27 and 44 axles, 4.88 gears.
Custom-fabricated power steering conversion using GM Saginaw gearbox. Bed liner paint job in 2019 since the body was fairly rough from its former life. Color matched the OEM “President Red” paint.
Update: Price dropped to $2000.
