“This is a willys L134 Engine, short block. Not sure the year of the engine, it was removed from a 1948 Willys CJ2A.
Pros- Ran great when pulled, I have a video of it running. Great oil pressure, also have a video.
Block is solid, I can not see any cracks or leaks. It has been rebuilt at one point in its life, the cylinders sleeved back to stock standard 3.125” dia.
Only what you see in the pictures is included in the sale. All internal components are in the engine. Head, Carburetor, Fuel Pump, oil filter canister, oil filler tube not included in the sale.
Cons – One of the exhaust manifold bolts is broken off. One of the pistons has a chipped edge on the top groove, see picture. No shipping local pick up. $450.00 or Best offer, Cash or PayPay only. Thanks for looking, please message me with questions or requests for more pictures or videos. I am parting out (3) Willys so if you need other parts let me know what you need and I’ll see if I have it. L134″
UPDATE: **SOLD** Prices ranged from $150 to $400.
“I have 4 F134 Jeep Willy’s Engines for sale. I assume all will need a rebuild, 2 turn by hand. One is missing the oil pan but the other 3 are mostly complete”
No pics, but this sounds like a good price if you want an upgrade over your existing engine. I’d put this in Biscuit if it weren’t so far away.

“Chevy II 153 4 cylinder from 1962/63(?). The motor has been built as a high performance engine…has a 4 bbl intake, dual point distributor, header and (I think) the big valve head. Runs great and had it in an old Jeepster but replaced it with a V6. Seem to be hard to find as a lot were scooped up and built for dirt track racing. Ran fine in the Jeepster with good oil pressure and no over heating (has new water pump).”
<– Day 9 Aug 10: Primitive Camping | Day 11 Aug 12: All Good Things Come to an End –>
The crew spent the day doing some more exploring of Newfoundland. They began the morning on the beach at Gander Lake. It ended at Gros Morne National Park.
Gander Lake proved to be a beautiful place to begin the day.
While the beach is a romantic spot to camp, it’s not all that flat. So, Joe and Bill had to get creative with their equipment in order to have their beds passably level.
UPDATE: **SOLD** was $250.
Maybe someone can use these.
“134 cu in L head (flathead) out of a 1948 CJ2A. The motor is disassembled and has been checked out by a machine shop. The bore is currently .060 over, crank mains are .030 and the rod journals are .010. The block and head have been dipped and painted. I took two motors to the machine shop and had them pick the best parts to rebuild one motor. The leftovers are all usable. Motor still has to be rebuilt. Motor block with head, crank, cam and piston rods, oil pan, flywheel, manifolds, water pump, fan, and what you see in the picture.May trade, need a Weber carburetor.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $700.
This looks like a good price.
“NEW pistons, rings, valves, seats, bearings, dam, timing gears, previous owner passed, engine has not been started since rebuilding and has not been in vehicle since rebuild includes bell housing flywheel clutch”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
Jon shared this link. I wonder if that’s Canadian $$?
“Willys cj2a complete engine with alternater, ran great when pulled has fly wheel”
Has a crack under the distributor, but perhaps it could be patched/welded/sealed.

“Willys Jeep CJ3A engine as pictured. Serial number starts with 3J but can be used in other Jeeps. Has casting flaw or hairline crack under distributor. Engine turns over. Pick up in Western NC unable to ship. $300”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $200.
Maybe some value? Looks like it ran some kind of pump/generator/?.
“illys L-134 GO DEVIL engine , near complete . Good for parts might be a good block , won’t turn over but oil on the dip stick looks decent . I believe this is a CJ model and not G503”
