“We bought this FC 170 with the intent to make a 4WD Dually. The body is very good and no rust. Nine foot bed with hardly a dent in it. Included is an extra cab. (surface rust). One ton Chevy front and rear 4WD axles. Six new tires and aluminum wheels. New instruments. Many new parts and shelves full of the original parts. The bed is full of the original parts. The picture of the finished Jeep is what we were planning to build.”

Looks like a parts FC.

“This is a parts truck only! NO TITLE!! Lots of rust & rot. BUT!!! it is all there. 5 OEM wheels, engine, trans, transfer case, front and rear differentials, suspension, interior components, intact engine dog box with lids, battery box lid (working), spare tire carrier, parking lights, door handles, emblems, seat frames, head light doors, the drive shaft is bent but it’s there. Engine IS STUCK!!. The last time it was on the road was 1977. To bad about the glass (idiots), no bullet holes in body.

I bought this about 2 years ago hoping to find an FC to restore, no such luck. I could not bring myself to allow it to be crushed/scraped.”

“i have a rare 57 willys jeep forward control fc 150 narrow track and a spare parts cab. It is a project the 150 has rust corners are rusted out which is typical for these old trucks also above the windshield and in lower skins of doors. the 150 was running about a year ago drove around neigborhood i did start it about 3 months ago and ran the engine but did not drive it do to master cylnder leak causing no brakes i use to drive it around the neighbor hood until the master cylinder started to fail and thats why it was originally parked. I bought a spare cab for it to swap. i have the pink slip on the 150 and is on non op. Looking for offers for both truck and spare cab that is missing doors. id love to keep and do full restorations on this cool truck but no longer funds or time to do anything with them. i can get pictures in a few days open to trades. “Rare and definitely repairable bed with Fenders. Rust hole behind gas tank location & above rear Fender location. Includes
a repairable Tail gate as well. Winter is coming and I need the room. Bed and Tailgate have been sandblasted.

Cash in my hand is the only way it’s leaving my sight !! I will not take a Check drawn on a North Korean Bank or any other
scam somebody dreams up.”

I can’t tell if the body is still around or not. The last photo looks a little dated, so I’m guessing this is what one of the chassis’s looked liked before the cab was removed.

(09/09/2017) This one has an unusual angular storage bin along the driver’s side.

“1959 Jeep F C 170 solid frame and mostly complete running gear motor may be stuck.Cab has solid floor and not much rust in cab corners. Has some rust over windshield but much better than most . Front area has some body damage and parts missing. Would make good parts for someone with rusty Jeep.”
