This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (04/19/2017) Runs, is a bit rough.
“This truck is originally from Nebraska. It has a 3-speed transmission with the hurricane 6 cylinder that smokes pretty bad when it warms up. It runs good and seems to stay cool.I have run it for 20 plus mins at a time. It has a electric fuel pump. It was a farm truck most of it’s life. It has plenty of dents and dings. The paint job is very amateur. It looks like it was applied with a roller and paintbrush and a Wagner power sprayer. It has Bondo that is unfinished. More in some places then needed and less in other places were needed. Not to bad from ten feet. The Bed Floor was replaced with a sheet of metal. The tires are dry rotted. It also has a hard ball size Bondo spots in each cab corner. And had one patch put in the driver’s floor.
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $4500.
Needs an engine.

Larry spotted this FC-170. He writes, “We are vacationing in Sedona. There are newer jeeps and jeep tours all over the place so we took one. As we were coming over the hill, there she was, an Fc170 tow truck. It was totally redone and beautiful. The kid in the shop had no idea what it was (some kinda jeep thing). It wasn’t for sale but it was great to see”.
Those familiar with this wrecker recognize it as Wayne Trent’s former FC. You can see some video of it here.

Missing the outside rims.
“1959?? Jeep fc 170 dual rear wheel. What you see is what you get. Cab looks rough but really isn’t to bad. Front window is shattered, doesn’t have doors, back glass or bed. Has a chevy 350 in it, but it is locked up. Bell housing and transfer case look to be in ok shape, the top cover on the transmission is rusting through. Also missing two dually rims. This would be a big project to bring it back to life, but it is a unique vehicle. Can help load on a trailer. Vehicle will come with a bill of sale. I do not have a title for it.”

“1958 jeep fc150- minimal rust in battery compartment. Has a running Buick v6 in it, needs breaks and tires are older and should be replaced, also seats need attention.
What i want is a 2wd rod ranging from the 20’s threw 30’s. I’m a fan of 30-31 model a coupes and trucks. but open to many other makes and body’s. I’ll trade for almost any range of project or amout of parts. But it must be a fair trade and I am well versed in the value of these years. Give me a text the worst i can say is no”
