Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks like the ones in front are GPWs.
“1942- U.S. Coast Guardsmen, equipped with armed jeeps to protect war supplies from enemy sabotage, are shown getting their orders at a East Coast port before they start their patrol. Coast Guard jeeps are marked on their hoods with “USCG” above the registration number. The registration numbers start with “SC”. The first jeep is marked “SC 156”, the middle jeep is marked as “SC 164” and the jeep on the right is marked as “SC 133″”
