Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/29/2014) Most windows don’t have glass.
“Here is a 1946 Willys Jeep done RatRod style. It has the Patina look exterior with clear coat sprayed over it. It has a good running 350 engine and a smooth shifting 350 Transmission. It sits on S-10 frame with P/S and P/B. Yes it has rust in different places but just adds to the character. It has no glass in it except the windshield. It runs and drives good. It”s just a cool ride that you could drive and enjoy as is or restore as you like.”

It’s a project.
“1946 Willys Rat Rod/Hot Rod project. Willys body On a YJ frame, Z’ed in the rear over a full float 14 bolt axle, 4 linked with stock TJ arms and springs. Chevy 307 SB, with Edelbrock Performer intake & Holley 650. Original grill (as far as I know) and all four tires 31X9.5X16 included. Floor structure is there, just needs a floor. Front suspension needs to be built. Included are 1 Ton front inner C’s/hubs/rotors to make a custom axle. I can also include a complete I Beam axle, with a 4-5″ drop. And maybe even a complete passenger drop Dana 44 with the matching 8 lugs. This is a great start to complete the build, or part out! I’m open to trades, specifically looking for a tandem axle car hauler. I like anything automotive!”

2 Wheel drive. Built in 2001. 5000 miles since built.
Ford powered 302 engine. C4 Transmission 9 Inch differential.
All 12 Volt. Mustang 2, Heidts front end kit.
Disk Brakes, power steering Vintage air.
Custom interior, power windows Key-less locks.
Never spent the night out side and never driven in the rain.”

“Considering selling this freshly built classic because it draws more attention than I have ever expected. I can’t go anywhere without people drooling, wanting to talk about it, or following me to get a picture of it.
