This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1949 Willy Jeepster for sale that has been in my family for 40 years. My mother drove it around the campground and marina my parents owned. When she passed away it was put in my barn and has been in my barn for many years. Its a barn find! I’m downsizing and need to sell it. It’s a project car. It’s a solid complete Jeepster, all parts are there. It has very little surface rust. It was a Shriners parade Car so it doesn’t run real fast….it has a 6 cylinder Ford engine, it doesn’t run, automatic transmission. Price is $4,500. If interested please contact me ”

The last four pictures are what this Jeepster could look like fully restored. This redish/maroon color is the same original color of my Jeepster that is for sale before the previous owner painted it yellow.
For sale is a 1948 Willys Jeepster. This Jeepster is a 1948 model year with clean Iowa Title. Still has the original 4 cylinder Go Devil engine and 3 speed transmission with overdrive. The engine has had the head removed to have a crack professionaly repaired, the engine was never finished being put back together. I went through everything to make sure it all spins freely. It has a Holly carberator on it currently but the original intake manifold and carter carburator are in the trunk. It has the original generator in the trunk which appears rebuilt, but I only say it looks rebuilt because of how clean it is. The original starter is on the engine and it has a spare starter in the trunk. Chrome is all there but some of it was painted yellow.
It’s got some rough edges, but maybe there’s some value here?
