About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1949 Willys Jeepster. Barn Find. Just came out of a 20 year slumber. Flat 4cyl. 3 on the tree. 2wd. Insanely clean. Super solid. Clean title. Interior is mint. Top is perfect. Needs plastic windows replaced. Missing radiator. $6000 cash or trade for something old and cool with wheels. Pick-up in Durham NC”
UPDATE: Thanks to Seth for verifying this scam. Here’s what the “seller” wrote to him:
I’m selling it because my husband died 2 months ago (he had a heart attack) and it brings me bad memories, that’s the reason I want to sell it a.s.a.p.The total price is $7,000. No damage or hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained. I have clear title, without liens or loans on it, everything is under my name. Me and my son decided to sell the house and we moved to my parents house in Twin Falls, ID trying to start a new life. We need to meet up to my parents place or I can arrange delivery – it will cost the gas money and I will pay for it.
I want to use eBay Motors services (5 days of testing prior purchase) for the safety of both of us, so if you’re interested in purchasing, please provide me your full name for the bill of sale, your full address and a phone number so I can notify eBay that you’re selected as my possible buyer, and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

“Hello up forsale is my classic 1967 jeepster commando, very clean and straight for its age it does have some rust spots. Runs good, has the bulletproof F-head hurricane straight 4 engine in it with the t90 3 speed manual transmission and Dana 20 twin stick transfer case. Overall great little jeep that needs a new home and some tlc, it runs good and is registered and has a clean title.”
Ted spotted this one. It looks like there’s some parts value here. It doesn’t have an engine.
“I have a clean titled 1969 Jeep Commando. The Jeep body is straight and complete with very little rust. The floor boards are solid. The negatives are the original 225 V6 is missing, the front frame is tweaked, the tailgate is rusted and the back window is not there. I am moving with to many projects. I am asking 1200.00 but will listen to any reasonable offers”
This was in the process of being restored, but the owner(?) suffered a stroke. It’s not clear to me how disassembled it is.
“1950 Willys Jeepster in process of restoration; 283 Chevy motor; 5 new tires; complete new brake system; new white interior; stroke forces sale. $8,000.”
