This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has been at my family friends ranch for 40 years and I am helping him sell this gem. There were 60k of these made and there aren’t many left. Listed as a 1946, it looks like it might be a CJ-3A with an M-38 body. It also has a rear bed extender. Only the one pic provided.

This nice looking jeep with a rear PTO appears to have a CJ-2A chassis and a replacement body kit. I don’t see any M-38 in it.

“Up for sale is a 1952 Willy’s M38 Jeep. This was a barn find. Body needs new floors. Motor is missing the head. One tire is flat. Converted to power steering at some point in its life. No seats. I have a new tool box lid and shocks for this jeep. This is a vehicle that has a lot of potential. I simply due not have the time. No current Title.”
There might be some parts value here. The M-38’s body has been extensively rebuilt in the back.
