(12/16/2011) It looks nice enough, but whenever someone claims a jeep is restored to “exact specifications”, yet I see right away non stock hubs, I become a little leery. However, generally is looks pretty good.

Only 73,050 original miles, carefully restored to exact specifications. Finished in Olive Drab with correct White stars and numbers. Runs and drives great, parade ready. The seller lists this as a “Willys MB”, but I’m pretty sure this is a M-38. I wouldn’t bring it up, except that the seller is the one that wants someone to “respect the history of this fine automobile.”
“This jeep is awesome. It speaks for itself, runs like a dream, and puts a huge smile on your face while driving around. Does get tons of attention, so be prepared to talk a lot about it. I am more interested in a trade rather than selling.
Rides I’ll consider: Classic American Muscle 60’s to late 70’s, 1980 Corvette, classic trucks.
Please no spam, and don’t need to sell so no idiotic offers. Must also love jeeps and respect the history of this fine automobile.
I am bringing it to my mechanic to have him put new brakes on this week. Better to be safe in this mini-tank.”
