“1952 M38, introduced by Willys in 1950, a post-WWII Jeep based on the civilian CJ-3A. This jeep is unrestored and completely original. It has its original body which is solid with no dents. “I have a 1957 and a 1942 cj2a willys Jeep for sale. Both were running when parked. The 42 has a bent frame that can be fixed or swap the whole thing to another frame. All the body is still solid and fairly straight. The 57 has been sitting up longer. The brakes are locked up and it’s in a little rougher shape. Both have been parked under a tree collecting leaves.”
Engine will need a new head gasket. The sale Includes a hardtop.

The seller describes this as a 45 rolling chassis and also as a 1952 CJ-2A. However, the fact that the front frame rails are boxed and the fact that the image of the original rusty frame had hinges suggests that the frame is an M-38 frame.

Listed as a 1951, this jeep has a replacement tub. It does not appear to have an M-38 frame; rather, maybe a CJ-3A frame with the PTO bar removed? This seems to be a mix of parts.

Looks like a great price, maybe too good of a price. Something doesn’t seem right about this ad. Who advertises a mint M-38 by describing it with a “front tow package”? And, I’m not seeing an obvious tow package. This might be a scam ….
