“1952 M38A1 Military Jeep”
Looks solid.
“Up for sale is this very nice 1952 Willys M38A1. This Jeep was purchased a few years ago and had underwent a full frame off restoration before purchase. It has been lightly used ever since and is still in very good condition! The paint still looks great since the restoration and there are a few chips in it from normal wear and tear and I will try and show any imperfections in the pictures. It comes with a complete canvas top and doors that are in great condition with no tears. All drive terrain and electrical systems had been gone through and are in perfect working condition. The original 24 volt system is still working great and she fires up every time. The original Brass data plate is still intact! This is a great driving jeep and runs and drives like it did when it was new. If you’ve been interested in an army jeep now is your chance to own one!
If you have any question about the jeep or something more you would like to see that was not shown in the pictures please feel free to email me, call me or text me at 360-601-fourzero30 and I will be happy to answer any questions the best I can.”
Parade ready.
“This is an awesome completely rust free, recently restored and VERY CLEAN 1953 Wills M38A1. This Jeep underwent a frame off restoration about 7 years ago and still looks great. It was used in a few parades over the past few years and sat in a barn the rest of the time. She runs great and is ready for action! The floors, frame and undercarriage were sandblasted and painted and look like new (see pictures). The transfer cases were rebuilt and also painted and look like new. All wheel wells are immaculate and look like new. The motor (original 4 cylinder Hurricane) was rebuilt and detailed with correct original colors. The engine compartment was also repainted and the original shovel is present. 24 volt system with electrical generator outlet and heavy duty cable included. The jeep was painted at the time of restoration and still looks great (it does have its share of paint chips and dings and some paint wear areas on the floor). Brass data plate was redone and looks like art! The interior was also repainted and is still in very good shape with some slight paint wear in floor feet areas. Seats are in very good shape with some slight wear. Canvas top is also in good shape and free of rips. This Jeep has the keyless floor foot start button. She fires up right away. Has correct choke and throttle cables. All gauges and gauge lights work! Horn works! Lights work! Wipers work! Complete with correct military tires and wheels! I also have a repair manual that comes with the Jeep. Also has the tow cable connector box in rear. This jeep gets attention everywhere and is a blast to drive! Here is your chance to own a piece of history at an affordable price!”

“Nice driver or restore as military. From a small town up high and dry in Utah, this body is in great shape. Currently located in Lancaster, PA.
M38-A1 is military version of CJ-5.
Call Bill @ (717) 393-5337”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800
I thought this was interesting due to the aftermarket dash and the doors. I haven’t seen the dash used very often in the M-38A1s or CJ-5s.
“I haven’t been able to post pics. But I have some. The jeep needs in my opinion minor body work. It has a dodge fireball v6 engine that runs. It has hydraulic pump and lines that run a very powerful wench. With a little work this WILLYS could be rock climbing or cruising in no time. I’m selling because it was a project me and my grandfather had been working on but we both don’t have much time for it and he needs some money and I want to put some money down on a used Harley.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $10,000.
(02/15/2014) This looks like it was just released from the Army.
