About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

The seller will take $500 off for proof of being a veteran. Looks like a good price.
“I have a complete M38A1 Willys Army jeep from 1954, it is complete! With the original data plates and all the parts are there including top bows and seats, Has new military canvas driver seat as well as the rear bottom seat cushion. I can finish the cnavas job on the other seats if you so desire it. I have spent the better part of 16 months bringing this old Army veteran jeep back to its military glory. It has all the hard to find accessories and attachments. All Five tires are original military tires, as are the rims. I just installed a rebuilt T-90 transmission this year, a complete new old stock exhaust system. This jeep needs some paint and your markings and you are ready for parades, vfw functions or just to jeep around with. I have a box of extra parts that will come with it. Currently the jeep is in 12 volt, I have all the parts to convert over to a complete dual battery 24 volt system. This is the most complete M38A1 offered. Has all the original lifting shackles and front bumper that has not been molested or cut. New ties rods installed, new steering bellcrank, two new front brake cylinders. The fuel tank is original and has already been gone through and restored so you will not have to worry about a fuel tank leaking. Comes with two fuel cans (5 gallon military one is dated 1977 the other is new old stock from 1955) Also comes with two gallons of the correct semi-gloss paint you will need to finish the restoration. If you have any questions call me at 580 six four seven 00 four five. She stops drives and runs. I have put alot of work into this old work horse. But the wife says I can only have one jeep. So now is your chance!
I also have two original manuals for this jeep that come with it as well.
If you are a korean war veteran or veteran period, with proof, I will take $500 off the asking price. And last but not least, I will deliver this jeep to within 100 miles of zip code (73543/Geronimo, OK)”

“6 feet (and two rows of seats) added: 17 ft. total length
Seats padded for comfort in parades
Seat belts added for carrying children
Has loud siren
Turn signals added
In working condition
Winner will have to pick up the Jeep from Porter, Texas”
Though it appears stuck in thick Tacoma area mud, there is an explicit declaration on the back of the photo stating that the jeep is NOT stuck.
“Up for sale is a 1958 Original B&W Glossy 7×5 Photograph taken by an Army Photographer and showing what I believe is a US Army Willys M38A1 (MD) Jeep in a Very Muddy Road with Id’d Soldier, most likely at Fort Lewis or Yakima Training Center in Washington State. Back is hand titled: Lloyd McClelland + jeep in mud. Not stuck. Taken while on hill duty. Year is based on some dated images in this collection. Any serious defects will be noted here [curved ends, light roughness to lower edge, old tape, minor tape? staining on back], but since condition is subjective, please enlarge photos & decide overall condition for yourself. This would make a wonderful addition to your collection.
ALL the images I have by this unknown US Army Photographer were taken in Washington State in 1958. However some of his military views do not give location info, so location is a best guess from what is shown. I also have several other Army / Air Force photos from this photographer on eBay.”
1954 Jeep M38A, manufactured by Willys Overland. Body perfect. Needs very little to get running: fuel sending unit, fuel pump and tank.
1946 Jeep Willys CJ 2A. Body in excellent shape. Minor engine work to get this running. (First year that Jeeps were offered to civilians!)
Both of these Jeeps were up and running, but, my father passed away a few years back, and he had these at a shop in Iowa where they were doing some work on them. I have spent the last few years trying to get them back from the shop’s owner, so, nothing has been done with them since 2009.
Looking for trades on one or both. These are in amazingly good shape, and will take very little to get back to running. Interested in: jet skies/4×4 truck/Jeep Wrangler/trailer or camper/lot on lake/or open to other reasonable offers! Let me know if you have something that you think might spark my interest…but, be realistic! I will not ship, however, I know these are classic Jeeps, and someone from another part of country may be very interested…if legit, I will work with you if you hire delivery service to pick up.”
