(05/17/2011) This looks great for the price, though this appears to be a M-38A1 body on an earlier frame.

“1951 Willy’s M38 A1 Jeep for sale. Runs and drives. New snow tires so can be driven or towed. New Solex carburetor. Have a few spare parts including original air cleaner. Have not found any rust in body except in rear deck by rear seat. I believe a previous owner has done the body work as the body is straight and clean. Stock gauges in-op. Transmission, transfer case and differentials are tight. Over the last three years I have taken it on a half dozen 40 mile back road trips with no problem

(04/12/2011) It doesn’t run, but looks pretty stock (except for the engine as noted by Javier).

Engine does run — not currently running since vehicle has sat a long time. This jeep is a restoration / rebuild project. Nearly all original military parts intact.
