“Good condition rare m38 has original engine needs restore”
Jody is selling these parts.
“All in pieces as torn down for inspection and restoration. Almost all parts are here. Too many to list. Sudden changes in life circumstances require I let this go. I purchased all this in July from a great young man whom started the restoration. I’ve acquired more parts since. 2 Willy’s MB tubs, one rough shape (no front floor pan) two frames. Both axles, tires rims, transmission and T-90. Transfer cases, hubs, Brake drums, driveshafts, leaf springs. One CJ engine in great shape yet torn down for inspection. 3 Hoods and 3 sets front fenders. Cross members, lots of parts to list. Some parts already sold. Call, email or text for whats left.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
(10/27/2016) Another jeep with turbine rims. There appears to be a thin skin that’s been added to the driver’s side.
“I have a ’42 Willy’s Jeep for sale.
Ford straight 6 with 4 speed manual transmission.
4×4 drivetrain.
Been in storage for 20 years.
Starts, but runs rough.
Needs a little carb work due to length of storage.
The tires are weather cracked so it will need to be towed home or we can deliver in Phoenix area for $100.00”
Glenn forwarded this one.

(10/22/2016) It runs. The seller doesn’t know much about it, but understands it isn’t original.
“My apologies I am not an expert on what I am selling! This is a 1943 Willys Jeep with some modifications. A family member recently passed away and this Willys Jeep was his project. The jeep runs great and is a lot of fun to drive. As you can see from the pictures there are non-original items like the steering wheel assembly and the diamond plating. I have the title. It’s been garage kept. I can’t tell you much more than that. I will be happy to answer any questions you have (if you tell me how to find it on the jeep) and/or take more pics, whatever information you need.”
Not sure there is much value here.
“For sale is my old jeep. Best offer takes it home.”
Auction opens on 11/08. It appears to have a replacement body. Starting bid is $25.
“1942 Willys MB Jeep 4 x 4. Serial # 2T18124. Mileage reads 28,733. Powered by a 4 cylinder Willys Go Devil gas engine. 3 speed manual transmission with 2 speed transfer case and locking hubs. Brakes have been upgraded to 11 inch drums. This jeep has a Braden power take off winch, these winches run off the engine power and don’t kill your battery. This Jeep starts easily and runs very well, the transmission and 4 wheel drive are smooth, quiet and work as they should. This Jeep has a 1951 M38 body tub. The Jeep comes with a full top, doors, bikini top, spare parts, towing lights and a technical manual. The rifle in the rifle rack is not included in the sale. The unusual sounds you here in the video is a building being demolished next door. Overall a nice solid, good driving old Jeep. To watch the video, click on the Video tab next to the Photo Tab above. California buyers will be registered at the site. Out of state buyers will receive the clear California title to complete transfer in their home state.”

Has a few updates, but there’s some stock MB still here.
“1943 Willy Military Jeep, complete overhaul motor-transmission & transfer case – complete overhaul of all brakes-new seats-12v system==clean title=( have kept black tag up to date ) Run Fine (Serious inquire only)”
Needs some work and has some civilian parts, but there’s still enough here to check it out.
“1942 Willys MB body on CJ2A frame. Runs and drives well. All it would need to be a driver is the drivers side rear blinker replaced front drivers blinker and the brakes need adjusting. Body is quite solid for a 74 year old Jeep. Engine runs and shift through the gears but could probably use a tune up. Can be towed easily using the attached tow bar even at freeway speeds. ”
