For some reason there appears to be a serial number tag on the outside of the passenger front frame rail.
“Willys 1945 MB Jeep
– Pink slip says 1946
– Serial numbers show built in 1945
– Full Restoration in 2013
– Rewired
– New Paint
– New Upholstery
– Small chip in paint underneath the drivers side entrance
– New Tires & Tubes ”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.
It’s a project with a Sears hardtop.
“Letting go of my ’44 MB. Awesome rolling project with a unique piece raily to never seen. This one has a hard top! It is an aftermarket hard top sold by Sears in the early 50’s and is prett rare as I have never seen another one on an MB. Has Buick V6 with cast iron block, great reliable engine. I have a few boxes of other spare parts to add in, seat pads, stick shift boots, brake cylindars, etc. Needs an altenator and a new front passenger side axle. Both easily findable after market parts.
Has been garaged since I got it from my uncle a few years back. It was in working condition when he parked it about 20 years ago and sat outside under a covered roof during that time, so pretty well preserved with very little rust issues. Other than someone stealing the altenator off of it, it is all there.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Listed as a 1953, it looks like an MB/GPW.
“53 willys $2000 OBO Needs work , ran when I parked it . Great project , mostly all their -no top”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900.
Half MB and half 1953 CJ-3A(?).
“Also included is a metal cab with side doors with roll up windows and a tow bar (not pictured)
The top is an original 1943 Jeep but we replaced the frame using a 1953 jeep. Chevy V6 engine and HD automatic transmission. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
It doesn’t run at the moment. Has a VEC 2A body.
“1944 Jeep Willys CJ2A/MB/GPW
I have owned this jeep for 8 years and it has been a great project. Tub/Body is an early example CJ2a with tool indents. I got this jeep in to running condition and fixed it up to be a Parade and around town runner. Engine is a L134 “Go Devil” 4cyl with 3 speed T-90 floor shifter. The Jeep is mostly complete, but not a show piece. It has unfortunately sat for the last 4 years not getting used. Although it did run when parked it will need to be gone through again to get it into running condition.
It comes with some rarer jeep parts including some stamped F(ford) parts, 3 solid disk(non- slotted) rims, and the early CJ2A tub with tool indents.
This Jeep will also have a clear Titled in my name for a 1944 Ford GPW, I licensed and insured the jeep as such, in the time that I’ve owned it. The Jeep has the accompanying data plate matching the title. I ran the appropriate serial number searches, with the state when I bought it, verifying no outstanding history. Getting this Jeep licensed and insured will not be an issue.
It has been a fun toy, that always grabs attention, but it’s time to move it on to someone who can invest time into it. ”
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $2500.
That’s likely a Worman hardtop.Looks to be a good price, despite the changes.
“Buick V6 motor, clean title, runs good, ranch or hunting rig.”
Looks like it has a Bobcat hood.
“Title in hand
Buick Odd fire v6 with edelbrock carb and intake
Transmission is loud in 1st and pops out of 2nd if you don’t hold it
Toyota pickup axles
33×12.5 tires
New tilt column
Running driving project
Bikini top”
Still has some MB aspects, but looks to be an MB body on a late CJ chassis.
“1942 willy’s jeep MB
Runs and drives but still a project
327 Chevy small block
Muncie m21 4 speed needs clutch or adjust
Dana 30 front and rear front locking hubs
Edlebrok 1403 carb
Comes with roll bar, soft top, doors, seats with sliders
Body is alright
Tires are old but a lot of tread left
Make me an offer and get this thing out of my storage!! I’ll even throw in a little HF wire feed welder to get you a jump start on some body work. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
Not perfect, but looks like a good price.
