About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It is missing details such as combat rims and a slat grille, but looks solid.

“This is a 1945 Willys MB Jeep. Its your chance to own a rare piece of WWII history at a cheap price. I have set the RESERVE LOW.
The jeep has been tagged in GA but there is no Title. GA will not issue title for a vehicle this old. Purchaser will get bill of sale and copy of my registration and your state will do what ever they do, some will issue title and not sure about others.
Here is what I know! The jeep is in ok shape for it being 68 years old. It runs and drives which is good compared to most. I found this in a barn and the previous owner did not know it was a WWII jeep. This is what I did to it to get it running and driveable a couple years ago. Distributor, plug wires, clutch, master cyclinder, front & rear wheel cyc, brake lines, plugs. This jeep still turns heads of anyone driving by in its condition.
Now, Jeep is missing some of its original parts, but it still has some on there. It does not have a gas tank, I have a temperary one in the back now so I can run it. The seat are not the correct MB seats, & the windshield is from a later model willys(no glass). As you can see in the pics some one has put some sheet metal over the rear fender tool boxes- im sure to cover the small rust holes in there. Also they put it on the side steps. It can easily be removed by someone who can do meatl work- I cant! I never had a chance to go thru the transmission. It will stick in third gear every now and then but has never affected me driving up & down road. data plate on dash are missing, but frame tag is intack.”

“Old Willys Jeep. Not running. best to just check out the pictures. Will not part out the jeep but you can if you buy the whole thing! You will need a flat bed and you can get a tille for the right price!”
The body doesn’t look like a M-38 tub. It’s missing the fuel inlet. Maybe it’s a mb/gpw tub?

“Here is GPW 7608. This is one of the very early and rare jeeps built by Ford but they did not have any frames so they had to put them on Wills MB frames. This jeep came from the factory in February or March 1942 having a Ford body on a Willys frame. This jeep is a very desirable jeep once restored and it will need a full restoration. It has Ford front seats, early axles, radiator, Ford GPW engine but missing the pistons, Ford GPW head, T-84 transmission case with no gears, Ford GPW transfer case and some data plates. The center nomenclature plate is missing but does exist in the collection of a very well known WWII Jeep supplier in Oregon and may become available. I will provide the name and details to the winning bidder. A photo is shown in the data base on the G503 web site. There is no title but I can obtain one if it is needed to be shipped overseas(for extra cost). I can haul this jeep to the port in Oakland for the cost of my gas. Shipping overseas is no problem at all and I have a great shipping company I can recommend.”
