This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willys Jeep with original motor (needs rebuild, does not run). Frame, fenders etc no holes, just surface rust. Has roll bar, intact windshield, also two additional (pre-1960s) windshields with cracked glass. The seats and motor inside jeep are not Willys but can be included or removed if you desire. No title. Flatbed delivery is negotiable. I am willing to entertain all offers and will keep contact info with offer until the end of April then highest offer takes it.”

This looks like a CJ-2A body and front clip on a MB/GPW frame/running gear.

(08/26/2009) “1943 Willys MB Army jeep; Original L-head engine, 3 speed trans with dana 13 transfer case; Original axles, frame is in good shape; runs great; Tub has rust issues, has been previous repaired. can be further repaired or a new tub
converted to 12v with all new wiring; engine has brand new clutch, flywheel, starter, and seals on transmission; has 3 inch lift kit with 2 inch lift shackles and 5 brand new wheels and mud terrain tires. new shocks; new fuel cell; custom diamond plate corners; interior has been bed-coated; all new gauges except the speedo gauge; great rig, just have to many toys; $4500 obo or possible trade….let me know what you have”

Lots and lots of rust.
“WWII Willys MB Jeep. There are no data tags on the glove box; The tag on the frame is broken, but the remaining part shows MB 4235. The body number on the toe board is 207190. The jeep can be used for parts or restored (it will need a lot of work). It has four combat rims, two have issuse. The grill is welded to the fenders. The motor and transmission are not original. The motor looks to be a buyback as it has the oval pad for the serial number as the original motors do. it has no radiator. The driver’s seat will need some repair, but the passenger’s seat is great. The jeep is located in Billerica and we can assist in loading it on your trailer. $1300 or BO”
