About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Work in progress 200 ci Ford L6 engine w/3 sp automatic All parts go with it ,T 96 trans ,with old pto shaft ,brake parts ,lights ,wire , cables ,so on or best offer ,cash only”
“Here is your chance to enjoy next summer rock crawling the Rubicon trail!! I have a “1942 Willys MB” for sale. It has a small block Ford V8 with a T18 4 speed transmission Dana 18 transfer case with a Warn all range over drive. It has a Dana 44 in rear and a Dana 27 up front, not sure if it has any lockers. It has 33X12.5 R15 tires. I has a clear California title in my name with out any back fees!! The engine does not currently run.”
“This is a great Jeep! Runs and drives have a clear title in hand. Some extra parts are available with it as well. Including some handles for the tub. I still some have some of the paint from when it was painted! There’s also a new clutch, it’s still drivable but it will need a clutch eventually and I have those parts as well.”
Seller does not want to ship. The jeep might need some wiring fixes.
“December 1944 delivery date willys MB. Fires up quick and easy, runs and drives great. All original body, frame, axles, engine, trans and transfer case. Data plates on glove box original and match frame tag.
There are some reproduction parts on this jeep like the black out light, carry handles, wheels, top bows, new a upholstery. Partial restoration done as accurate as possible for exterior looks.
Wiring has some issues PO hooked in a electric pump and it starts by dash button instead of floor button now, not sure if charging system is working. I would consider a new harness later and getting the missing air cleaner and fuel filter to make it more original.
There is absolutely no bondo or body work done and you can tell by being able to see the factory seam welds and little imperfections. There is some rust in floor boards that goes into the hat channels beneath. Common issue and better to have that than bad a repair job. Not willing to ship to another country or state.”
Lots of mods. I’d be surprised if this was “plated” as having served in Pearl Harbor during WWII (obviously wouldn’t have arrived until sometime in 1945 at the earliest if it is a 1945).
“One of a kind. 1945 Jeep. 6 inch lift. On 35s. Full arb air lockers in each axle. On board air compressor and air tank for tires also. Custom roll cage. CD player. Has soft top and doors all in good condition. I’ve owned this for over 10 years. My boys are beginning to out grow it. So thinking I may sell this. Or trade it. It runs great. Plenty of power. 4 speed manual. Dual transfer case. Warn winch. Everything works except the speedo but I just go with flow of traffic. Not sure how to put a price on such a rare unique piece of American history. Plated and documented it’s been in Pearl Harbor. World war 2. So I’m taking offers. I paid 8k for this and have put in a few grand over the years for suspension and tires are new. Mileage is unknown”
“Listing my fully restored 1943 Willys MB. Purchased back in 2014 and performed a 100% restoration. Original running gear, but does have a new body on it. I’ve only driven 1100 since the restoration. Everything is 100% correct for the vehicle, I can give the interested party a complete run down on what has been done and an idea of the money invested into it. I do not need to sell it, but for the right price I will let it go to a new home. It’s currently in storage for the winter in a heated garage but is fully accessible should someone want to come purchase it. Please message me with your contact information and I will call and or text a reply. I will not be accepting off the cuff offers, and I’m not currently looking for any trades. In response to recent messages, this not a $10000 vehicle, I have over $27k invested and that is what I’m looking to get for it.”
“I have an 1945 Willy runs and drives. I have it o. The road and title in hand. No trades I need the cash. No movers and mailed checks. I don’t need help selling. I have a new clutch to go in and the side handles for the tub.”
