“Chev small b 400 turbo 400 2500 stall 513 gears”
Bill shared this MB for sale. Given the price, it’s a little surprising to see that this likely has a CJ-3A or DJ-3A engine, along with an extra front crossmember and some patches on the front frame rails. Seller says it has combat rims, but I don’t see any in the pics.

“1945 Willy’s MB Jeep SN 451888. Jeep has been stripped media blasted and re painted. Solid tub frame, glass. New seat canvas, body mounts, tires, paint, wheel cylinders, brake lines, data plates, canvas top, 6 volt wiring, and rebuilt generator. All lights work to include blackouts. Runs and drives great 4×4 works great. Lots of extra parts and accessories to include tire pump, fire extinguisher, ax, combat rims, shovel ect.
Jeep has a clean title. No rot or rust.”
This may be a VEC CJ-2A or it’s a mix of parts.

“1943 willys. I bought this jeep and did some work on it. It runs pretty good. Original motor and running gear. Don’t have time for it now. It needs a complete brake job. I have driven it and I have a separate set of tires for it. It is a project. Thanks for looking.”
Great price. Will go quick.

“Hasn’t been started for 10 years. No battery. Has rust. Have extra jeep for drive line parts. Spare engine. Have a rebuilt carburetor and a disassembled winch. All for $800.”
Michael shared this MB with a trailer on the Bring-a-Trailer site.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1944-willys-mb-jeep-2/
“This 1944 Willys MB was owned by a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran for approximately 40 years before being inherited by the seller’s spouse in 2019. The truck is powered by a 134ci inline-four mated to a three-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case, and the body was refinished during the family’s ownership in green with military-style livery and features a canvas soft top, a pioneer tool kit, a jerrycan, and more. The included Willys trailer was purchased and refurbished approximately 25 years ago. This Willys Jeep and trailer are now offered by the seller with period WWII memorabilia, non-operational display machine guns and other items, a technical manual, service records from the past 40 years, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s spouse’s name.
The seller states that the body was disassembled, refurbished, and repainted in olive drab green with reapplied insignias and livery in the 1990s. The included trailer underwent a similar refurbishment. Additional exterior features include a canvas soft top, a hinged dual-pane windshield, a fender-mounted Federal Enterprises siren, camouflage netting, blackout driving lights, and more. The seller notes that two non-operational display machine guns are included in the sale and can be mounted to the central turret….”
It’s a project.

“Project, 45 Willys MB. Another project in line. Price keeps going up the more complete it becomes. Needs Glass, Brakes, some reassembly, seats. Take over & finish your own way. Make offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
Has indents and an inlet, but the inlet could have have been added afterwards given it is atop the diamond plate. This is not running.
“’42 willys with small block chevy 350. Been sitting about 5 years. (Non running) Was supposedly parked with a bad fuel pump. Otherwise, with a little elbow grease will be a runner driver. Twin stick transfer case, onboard air tank, 12k warn winch. axles and gears are unknown but this thing was SET UP for when it was built… I’d bet it has some crawling gears in it”
Since it is an MB, the numbers wouldn’t match anyway. There have been a few updates.
