This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1944 Willys MB Jeep for your military vehicle restoration project. Frame and body relatively rust-free. Footwell and interior rusted. Ran fine last time it was driven, ten or so years ago. Windshield included (not shown in photos). Trailer NOT included. Mileage unknown, but it is well used. After all, it’s 75 years old”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $5000.
(08/23/2019) Listed as a 1944, this has a variety of CJ-2A parts on it. The body appears to be a VEC body. Needs a closer look to sort things out.

It’s listed as a 1951 M-38, but looks more like an MB.

“Item 1. I have for sale a February 1942 Willys Slatgril jeep. The frame is rusted through. It has no title. It does have both axles, drive shafts, hood, grill, left fender, windshield, tub, frame, springs, torque reaction spring, three gauges(gas gauge, oil pressure, amp gauge), speedometer, glove box door with data plates and brass windshield latches. This jeep is rough, but very rare and very restore-able. Frame and glove box door tag match 122025 on data plate and frame.
Item 2. In this sale also is a pair of original ford ww2 axles 3075 and 4025(front and rear) from anther 1942 gpw.
Item 3.There is also a 1943 willys M B tub with good frame.
Item 4.The third tub also in this sale is a willys mb tub that has been stripped and ready to repair.
I would trade this for a Ramsey PTO Model 50 winch complete setup.”
There’s a tag suggesting this was a reconditioned jeep at some point. It’s likely a mix of GPW and MB parts, along with some civilian/other parts (such as the rims, seats, bumper).
