This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “These came off a 53 cj3b. I believe the jeep had a boom set up, but do not know for sure. A heavy duty rear bumper and overload spring set up. A little rusty but somebody may be able to use them.”

“Kelly All Steel Jeep hard top, Model F-23. Came off of a CJ2A, should fit CJ3 and early military Jeeps. All panels there. Some rust and dents / dings as you can see in the pics. Missing one of the rear side windows and both door windows and regulators. (these were standard replacement parts used on commercial vehicles and are available at Mill Van Supply and other places.) Have both front door latches but will need new locking handles. A little rough but would be easily repaired or restored. Must pick up on the west side of Indianapolis Indiana just off of 465 at 10th st. (The data sticker only has the F-23 part of the model number, Kelly has additional digits in their part numbers but didn’t always put them on the sticker.’

For Sale:
1. A rolling Willys CJ2A chassis with L-head 4 cyl. (have not tried starting), needs alternator and starter, the rest of the motor looks pretty complete, springs very good, frame in good shape, rear crossmember in fair shape $600. Will include a CJ3A frame in very good shape for another $100. Bill of sales only, no reg. or titles available.
2. Miscellaneous Willys parts:
*brand new CJ3A grille
*NOS 24 volt military starter (M38/M38A1) still in the military can
*tailgate…no “Willys” stamp
*CJ5 grille
*dana 25 and dana 41 axles with springs
*starters, alternators, etc.
*air cleaners
*extra L-head motors (2)
*carbs
*M38 windshield with glass (side of windshield needs a little work, but certainly salvageable), also M38 hood (fair condition)

“None of these frames have an associated title, and they will need work.
1947 CJ2A Frame – Coated in red frame primer. The front horns are pretty rough, bubba welding around the crosstube and around added pieces, but nothing a competent welder cant fix. Looks like it had a plow put on it at some point. Rear half is fairly solid with the stock draw bar and bumper.
1946 CJ2A Frame – Black paint. Ok shape with a decent custom front bumper and winchplate. A few repairs and cuts. Notably around the front springs rear pivot (pictured).
CJ3A Frame – Under the grey body (which is also for sale – $100). Great frame aside from a single bad patch of rust about 10 inches long just behind the front spring pivot. It was stored on its side up against a guys barn so it pooled water in that one spot. Otherwise its solid with little rust and no damage or repairs. The front bumper had been replaced by a welded-in tube then the center was cut out.
Half frame – Someone took a torch to this one and the front springs. It has a nice draw-bar on it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $450 total.
The Trailer is $250 and the plow is $200.
“6′ Scheneker Iron Works Plow with Monarch HY-LO Pump. Pump includes generator mounting bracket and control rod. Plow was used on a CJ-3A but will fit other models. Everything worked when it was removed. $200.
Bantam T3-C Trailer. Data plate is missing so exact year unknown but there were pretty much all made in the late ’40’s. Tub is rough but the rest is a great candidate for restoration or expedition trailer build. Original and rare Fulton coupler intact as is the original landing leg and one safety chain. I believe the Firestone tires could also be original. $250.”
