Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “We have an off road toy that has been in the basement for about the last 9 years in storage. It is a International Scout frame and running gear with a fiberglass Willy’s Jeep body, custom built roll cage, aluminum floor, Chevy 292 small block with 12:1 compression, 4spd trans. It will start and run, but would imagine the Holley carb could stand to be freshen up after the time in storage. We did not build it with the intent to be street legal (no horn, turn signals, headlights, etc. Bill of Sale only, no title.”

Based on the number on the passenger side, I believe this was raced at one time. It would have been an Eastern Washington jeep (Region 4). The top appears in reasonable condition. It either has a DJ or a CJ-3B windshield.
