I don’t think they came out of the factory this straight!

“• Totally reconditioned; asking $4,000
• Bantam Serial No. 68238
• Date of Delivery: 4/28/45
• Frame No. 136121 Stamped under LF Spring; Hanger American Central Manufacturing Co.
• Everything is original except floor, sides, ends, and top pipe which are all new
• Has F-script brake drum and left tail light
• New tires, brake cable, wiring, and drain plug
• Not correct are reflectors, safety chains, and not sure about the wheels, maybe they were not combat wheels in 1945
• Some pitting on frame and springs
• This restoration was done with care. Another project I completed, a 1950 Willys truck that you can view, is in the 2014 Kaiser Willys catalog, page 134 (they put wrong name and truck); or Kaiser Willys blog jeep of the week, Number 122

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $700.

This trailer looks like a good price. I got curious about the number of Willys Overland trailers produced. After some searches, I learned that a contract for the first 10,000 trailers was given to Willys. A follow up contract for 5000 trailers was given to Bantam. 1949 Willy’s CJ3A with top, and trailer. 
Jeep in fantastic shape virtually NO rust, with factory installed winch, hood, windshield frame and tailgate restored about 15 years ago along with new upholstery all otherwise original . . .only added feature is a bolt in roll cage. Been in garage for the last 15 years
Factory aluminum top needs cleaned up but in pretty good shape and complete.
Trailer is all original and easily restorable with rust damage in the corners of the bed.”

I rebuilt the engine and replaced the gas tank and tank well, painted and added new canvas and wiring harness, added the radios and etc., found a trailer…all about 10 years ago. Stored in Frederick, OK, and used with the Airborne Demonstration Team ( wwiiadt.org ) activities, displays, parades…”

“WW2 Carbon Arc Anti-Aircraft Searchlight and Sperry Power Plant
Manufacture: Sperry Gyro Co.
Model: 1941A

This light has been restored by the Carroll Brothers who have 40 years experience in ground up restorations of vintage military equipment. Great care was taken to insure historical accuracy. This is a museum quality light.

The light has been restored to original condition. Light was completely disassembled and rebuilt. All lead base paint removed. Interior of drum repainted with heat resistant paint, exterior painted military green. Asbestos insulation removed and replaced with heat resistant insulation. Mirror is 85% to 95%.

Many NOS (new old stock) parts replace unusable parts; 
New Sperry control box
New junction box with power receptacles 
Reconditioned burner with good nose cone

Carriage has new tires and reconditioned hubs.
All old electrical wire has been removed and replaced with modern wire. Light rewired to 1940’s standards. Re-carboned light and azimuth light function. Meter and meter box restored and working well.
No broken glass, all data plates reconditioned and in place.
Sperry power plant has been fully restored as well.”

“I have a body off restoration M38a1 Jeep and trailer parade ready.This is the Marine Corps version with full fording gear.The only thing not restored on this vehicle is the engines internals runs like a top but does burn oil.This vehicle will be on display at the MVPA nationals from June 25 till June 28 at the Kentucky Expo center.This Jeep is immaculate in every detail comes with many extra parts including etra engine block, heads,rear ends ,and transmission and transfer case.Biggest reason I am selling is due to the fact that this vehicle has a top speed of 45 to 50mph and around here you would be run over at that speed on highway.I can be contacted by phone or text also at 4one9six0two4zero33.Where i was from in Ohio there were enough 55mph roads to travel to many shows and parades but down here it has to be trailered for your own safety.Bulldog on hood not included.Might consider trade of equal value on Cobra Mustang 99-2004″
