Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I am selling this Military Jeep M100 trailer as is. The trailer is in fair condition and can be used as is or restored. The date of original delivery Stamped on the tags reads 4 0f 51. The trailer will come with the 3 extra rims in the picture. the hand brake was rebuilt about 2 years ago and is in good working condition and all the lights work. I do not have the pink slip trailer will come with a bill of sale.”

This looks like a good price on a trailer.
“This is a 1947 Marine Jeep Trailer made by Banta. Trailer is in complete working order. As expected, a few small dents and rust spots. Hitch has been replaced to be used by a normal vehicle. Wiring has been refurbished and is in great shape.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Originally listed as a 1947, the buyer discovered a data plate indicating it was a 1943.

“I have a fairly complete, original, unrestored, and solid WW2 1943 Willys MBT trailer. It’s been painted a few times. But a quick pressure wash revealed the original OD, USA numbers, stars, and unit markings. We have plenty of restored Jeeps and trailers out there, and this one should be cleaned up and preserved as is.
The only parts missing are the two rear reflectors, wiring and both tail lights. Original lunette, chains, drawbar, leg, hand brake, dataplate, fenders, combat rims . . . and the kicker . . . NO tail gate!
I’ve had this for over a year, and actually used it a few times to haul plastic bottles and cans to the recycling center. It tows great and the hand brake works as it should. Current California PTI registration to my name. The previous owner had a coupler hitch attached, but fortunately used the original holes up front. I just recently removed the drawbar, leg, and lunette for storage. But you get everything shown in the photos.”
Tom Perkins’ company Treeline Teardrop Trailers out of Petaluma, California, offers both road and offroad trailers. Tom’s considering the purchase of a CJ-3B, which I think would look good pulling on his trailers. Here’s an example of the offroad one below.

Bill’s willing to sell his jeep for the right offer.
“I am thinking about selling my 1952 willys m38 and just want to see what interest is out there for it. It is a good running driving jeep. The engine has less than 1000 miles since it was rebuilt last spring. It is still 24 volt. Everything but the fuel gauge works. Tires are also new with about 1000 miles on them. The paint is not perfect but good for a driver jeep. I would be looking for $15,000 or best reasonable offer on this jeep. You could not build one for less. The photos show a winch on it, the winch would not be included with the sale. It is painted the original USAF strata blue. The trailer pictured as already been sold.”
