About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1954 Willy Jeep
Model: CJ3A High Top
Motor and running gear rebuilt 7,000 miles ago. Four wheel drive and all mechanical parts run great. Needs minor fender work. Also has military trailer. All lights, single, and electric components work great. Good running jeep.”
“You are bidding on a 1951 M100 military trailer and Generator with spotlight. Trailer is in great condition. No rust. Parking brake works. Original tags. Etc. The only thing missing is the landing leg. Original color was Air Force blue, probably repainted by the firefighters later on.
The generator is powered by a 4 cylinder flat head L134 Jeep engine. I was told by the previous owner that he had the generator running and the spotlight shot bright light to 15 story high Bldg. Was used for his son’s birthday party. I cannot verify, I never had it running, but condition and the low hours on the running time meter tells me this should have no problem running as it should. I do not have a battery for it.
“For sale 1943 converto t6 trailer. This is trailer is basically the same the Willys MBT or Bantam t3 but a little rarer. The trailer could be used as is or would be an easy restoration. I will include a set of the two piece combat rims as well as the post war wheels/tires currently on the trailer”
The bidding starts at $9000. This appears to have the wrong grille for a 1952. However, on the sign on the front bumper it reads 1953. So that might explain why it lacks the grille, because it’s actually a ’53 model.
“Totally rebuilt engine (less than 1500 miles), new tires and tubes, new canvas top and seats. Many more new and spare parts. Body has 33K miles. Engine has less than 1200 miles.”
“1942 Ford GPW(running) and 1945 Bantam Tailer. Jeep and trailer have been brought back to motor pool standard.
-JEEP equipped with:
tools with tool bag, jack, jack handle, tow rope, rebuilt tire pump, Ford-marked engine crank, BC-620 radio with mounted(FT-250) power supply, MP48 antenna with MP50 mount, rubberized antenna base cover, 6 antenna sections with bag, and assorted commo accessories. There are a lot of “F” marked parts. Total list of parts and accessories too numerous to mention.
There is a GPW rebuildable engine block for sale that we can discuss.
-TRAILER equipped with: canvas cover. The tires are brand new with brand new tubes. CLEAR title on both vehicles.”
Some imperfections? There are a variety of dings and dents.
“Do not miss your chance to own this iconic Jeep Willys with Trailer combination. It takes most people years to find a rust free Willys to start their restoration project, combine that with its original trailer!?! This is an amazing find!! It is done, buy it and go enjoy it NOW for the fraction of the price of a restoration … view more info on eBay”
“I have for sale a 1946 Jeep Willys with matching trailer that I have a title for as well as the jeep. Both titles are clear and in hand. Many new parts (too many to list). Runs and drives good; could probably use some adjusting on the carburetor. Trailer needs work. Asking $4,500 obo. Please call 618-795-6087.”
“1954 Willys CJ3B Jeep with 1/4 ton army trailer. Total frame off rebuild in 2005 including new body. All mechanical parts rebuilt or replaced including engine overhaul, re cored radiator, new gears in transmission and transfer case as needed, and both differentials inspected.
Upgrades include 12V alternator electrical system, Auto Meter all electric gauges, 11″ brakes with braided stainless lines, sprayed bed liner inside and under the body, and an 8000 lb PTO front mounted winch.
I’m disabled and unable to use it, so it’s been sitting in the shed for a few years and will need some clean up. I will answer all questions.”
