“Solid Willys pickup right hand steer v8 automatic new wheels tires very solid surface rust ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5600.
Dan spotted this truck.
“This 1948 Willys Pickup is in solid working condition and has served as both a daily driver and utilitarian vehicle regularly. It starts perfectly and reliably. It has a 12-volt system. I am selling it because we have moved to a smaller place and do not have the room to keep it. To my knowledge the vehicle has been in central and northern California for most of its life. The vehicle has little rust.
Quite a bit of deferred maintenance has been done and addressed in the last few years. The engine has been thoroughly cleaned and the truck comes with spare parts. After much research, I suspect that some of the parts were interchanged with CJ-2 or CJ-2A parts over time. Whenever I came across this, I tried to replace with the correct parts as discrepancies were discovered.

Seller’s description looks honest.
“A 1962 Willys with a flatbed of 2″ oak and angle iron. Original engine, 226 Hurricane , 12 volt, all lights work, engine runs good, just a hint of smoke, sometimes. Manual transmission, high and low speed, 4 wheel drive, all works as should, has a little clunk when going from 1 to reverse and vice versa. Good tires, skinny, but good. Bonded title.
New stuff- new rear end spiders, ring and pinion and bearings. Brakes, master and wheel cylinders, couple of new lines as well. Front springs, bushings and shackles new. Shocks all four. Steering box rebuilt and tie rod rebuilt with new internals and springs. New bearings in front, has 27 front axle and 53 back axle, warn hubs, all work fine. Spark plugs , points , condenser new. SeAts not new, from a 98 Land Rover. Gas tank, sending unit, gauge and fuel pump with electric assist new.”
