About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Andy spotted this truck with a dump bed. It also includes a snow plow.
“Has the 226 hurricane 6 cylinder engine the engine will crank by turning the key I haven’t had it running I am keeping the wheels the truck is rough I have Kentucky classic title in my name does have snow plow and the truck is a dump truck”
Not sure if the $2500 covers everything? The truck has something installed on the back. The CJ-2A appears to have a Worman hardtop that has been converted to a half-cab.
“I’m selling a 1947 Jeep Willys truck, I purchased this with the intention of completing the project but I ran out of time. This Jeep has mostly all original parts. 2 owners. It has sat in a barn for the last 15 years and needs some love. It did run and drive currently is leaking fuel when you try to fire it up.”
“Couple old Jeeps in the yard don’t know the years they need full restoration message me if you’re interested $1500 a piece located in Modena New York sold with bill of sale”
Mike shared this column-shift truck with a hefty tow package. Maybe a modified Canfield tow package?
“1947 Willys Jeep Truck 4WD. First year for the Willys Pickup. This is a former service station truck outfitted with a weld built wrecker. Its got a 4 cylinder F134 engine and a 3 speed column shift transmission. This is a four wheel drive model. It runs, drives and stops. It is still 6 volt but starts up without hesitation. Motor runs smoothly and has little use on it since it was rebuilt. New exhaust system was just installed. The wrecker unit was custom made for the truck and is all hand operated. Boom extends out an extra 5ft. Everything works smoothly and is very overbuilt. Airbags in the rear were added to assist with heavy loads. The truck also comes with a snow plow. Overall the rust isn’t bad except for the rockers/steps on the sides of the cab, they have seen better days. Frame is solid. It will need some work before it is ready to go back on the road but it shouldn’t take much. Sold with with a bill of sale only. No title. Asking $4500.”
“This 1947 Willys-Overland pickup painted in Arctic Grey is one of approximately 2,500 manufactured in 1947. The truck is powered by a L6-226 Super Hurricane engine that runs beautifully. The electrical system has been upgraded to 12V by a previous owner. A refurbishment by the current owner started in January 2021 after being purchased in Arizona and was completed in November 2022. The work included rust proofing underbody and frame, applying bedliner finish, new fuel tank, sending unit and line, fuel pump, aluminum radiator, thermostat, engine and heater hoses, water pump, belt, points, plugs, wires, carburetor rebuild, paint, professional tune-up and oil/filter change. Equipment includes a custom rear bumper/hitch, a heater/defroster, 5-gallon side-mounted gas can and a side-mounted spare. This pickup is offered with a service manual, receipts for work performed and parts, vintage AZ license plate, car cover and a clean Washington title.”
Andy shared this deal. It’s a 1962 truck with a PTO winch. He called and was quoted $500.

Some stuff is free, some stuff will cost you. Best just to ask.
Serious inquiries only…I work to damn hard to deal with scammers!!”
Blaine shared this recently completed auction for a nice looking truck. However, it looks like the trim is incorrect for a 1960. Strangely, the file name of the pic below was listed as a 1957 (1957_willys_pickup_1957_willys_pickup). That also makes more sense with the split windshield. Finally, the title lists this as a 1962.
“1966 Willie’s aluminum dump body plow 4 wheel drive road worthy 3 speed original engine flat head plow works creepy gear is unbelievable asking 10000 or best offer”
“1949 Willy’s Overland Pickup Truck *Vehicle is located in East Palatka, FL – Please call to set-up a private viewing* This original 2-wheel drive Willys pickup has just been completely professionally restored. This was a complete frame off show quality restoration of an original rust-free truck. Everything is new or rebuilt. Nothing was left untouched. This truck is for sale at about half of what it cost to restore one, if you could find a nice one to begin with. Sells with clear title. *Reduced online buyer’s premium of 15%* “
“A 1957 Willys Jeep Flatbed with a flathead Super Hurricane six-cylinder is what’s offered here, for sale at no reserve. The New Hampshire-based vintage 4×4 was reportedly painted in 2020 and has a “rust-free” body, while the L-head Super Hurricane engine is said to be original, but in need of a tune-up. There are 65,754 miles on the odometer, but the seller notes it was non-functional for a while. The truck’s true mileage is unknown. “It’s time to pass this truck on to another old Jeep lover,” says the seller.”
