Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (02/14/2016) It’s not much to look at, but it runs, has a snow plow, and has a dump bed.
“This truck needs a lot of repairs a nd some TLC. The clutch needs replacing. It has rust. It does run but needs tuning. The truck is equipped with a factory snow plow and a dump box. 6 cylinder Flat Head engine. Not sure of the year.”

Craig spotted this one. The seller indicates this was an “old train” truck. Maybe this has remnants of a Hy-Rail system on it?

“I have a mid 50’s willys pickup truck for sale. Its a 4wd, manual transmission, Super Hurricane 6 truck. Everything is there a little rough shape. It would make a good rat rod style truck. I do not have a title but can give some information on how to get one. Just looking to get rid of it because I have too many projects and decided it would be too long before I can get to this one.”

(05/23/20160 The truck has a variety of mods. The seller warns a buyer may need to do some work.
“This is a 1963 Willys Pickup.
I consider it to be very good for a truck over half a century old.
It has a 1995 Ford driveline connecting to a Lincoln 9″ rear end.
4 wheel power disc brakes
Independent front suspension
Power rack and pinion steering
Aluminum radiator
Automatic transmission
4.0 Ford V6 engine
Solid oak pickup bed
The original gauges are not connected.
Is a real head turner, would be more so with proper paint and body work.
I use regularly for hauling firewood, building materials etc.

“Own this true “American Icon” A 1951 Willys “Overland” Pick Up Truck
This is a 3 speed manual with an over drive gear…. Cruises 50-55mph no problem…
The Transmission, front and rear axles and all 4×4 power train are all original and fully functional.
The Frame and bed are in really good condition and all body panels as well as inside cabin are also in good condition..
The motor is not original but has a solid six cylinder carborated engine….Starts right up and runs strong….
4×4 that will go through absolutely anything you put in front of it…..
The Willys has new front springs and shocks also several other new parts…..
New Battery and New Inspection (Jan. 2018)…
The previous owner had it over 35 years total….
The truck is used a least 2-3 days of the week….
The Willys is just so much fun to drive…. It is a solid running truck in really good shape, no rust on frame or body….
There are 2 areas with rust, first is some rust on driver floor board and the other is bottom of passenger door….both are in fair condition….”

“have a 47 jeep willys pickup rat rod. need completion. has brand new 468 bbc with wiend tunnel ram,2-650cfm edelbrocks,msd set up. 3spd saginaw trany new clutch. 14 bolt full floater rearend 4:10 gears. all new floors chaneled over frame,4 link rear with air bags. leaf spring front. 33×18.5×15 rear tires 15×14 rear wheels 15×8 front new. needs rear brake, radator, steering colum, fuel cell. motor has never been started. make an offer.”
