The Maricopa County Jeep Posse held the 4th Annual National Jeep Search and Rescue convention in 1963. As part of the event, wives and daughters of the Maricopa County Jeep Posse planned to pose as models for a pool-side fashion show. They would model clothes from the Scottsdale Wigwam. I can’t speak for the Scottsdale outlet, but I am just old enough to remember our local Wigwam store and ‘fashionable’ isn’t a word I’d use to describe it. It was more like the precursor to the Dollar Store.

“Listing my fully restored 1943 Willys MB. Purchased back in 2014 and performed a 100% restoration. Original running gear, but does have a new body on it. I’ve only driven 1100 since the restoration. Everything is 100% correct for the vehicle, I can give the interested party a complete run down on what has been done and an idea of the money invested into it. I do not need to sell it, but for the right price I will let it go to a new home. It’s currently in storage for the winter in a heated garage but is fully accessible should someone want to come purchase it. Please message me with your contact information and I will call and or text a reply. I will not be accepting off the cuff offers, and I’m not currently looking for any trades. In response to recent messages, this not a $10000 vehicle, I have over $27k invested and that is what I’m looking to get for it.”

1946 CJ-2A Tulsa, OK $5000
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/12/2020) This jeep has undergone some modifications. The body has been cut in places and patched in others. Perhaps the most unusual aspect of this jeep is the hood (aftermarket?), which is mounted at an angle with the back up high, presumably to fit the Chevy 350.

I am selling a very nice 1946 Jeep Willys-Overland CJ-2A, twin stick 4×4, manual, 3 speed. It has had a frame-off restoration. No rust on the cab. VERY STURDY, no rusted through portions. Nice, thick paint. The paint is pretty good overall, but has scratches and imperfections. The has been swapped for a Chevy 350 with true dual exhaust with cherry bombs (Sounds good, not obnoxiously loud). It starts easily, runs great, has tons of power, and drives well both offroad and street. The transmission was pulled from a CJ-2A 6 cylinder, and the remaining drive train and axles are all original to the vehicle. The passenger seat flips up. The windshield folds down. The lights work.
