About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Runs excellent, no rust, body has some character. Has been stored in a garage at a mountain cabin. Great candidate for a restoration project or just a summer daily driver.”
Looks like it has the original KS 0-10 speedometer in it (but the needle is broken). Has an f-head header, too.
“This is an original 6 volt cj5 has 4 cylinder engine runs great and drives great has twin stick transfer case and 4wd works great have 3 of the 4 stock rims and have 4 newer rims and 3 newer tires no title but have off road tags for it new steering wheel and wiper motor sprayed bed liner in floor of it and just a small amount of rust in floor under fuel tank”
“1946 Willys CJ2A. Manual Transmission. Has been converted to 12 volt system. Does run. Have Title. Good project vehicle. Someone tried cutting dash for a radio, needs windshield, no taillights, seats need to be redone, odometer is broke. Willing to consider trades for things that pew, or reasonable offers”
This has a CJ-5 grille, but an M-38A1 body. The rear has been extended on the body. This might have a set of Thor Auto-matic hubs on it, but I can’t tell for certain.
“V-6, 227 Conversion, hard top and hard doors included, and tow bar”
“1948 willys runs and drives with title. Brakes need a little attention has lots for new parts. Lights work front and rear. Rebuilt carb After market starter New dizzy New battery Located in Amarillo Texas”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. These jeeps were listed in the Farm & Garden section of Craigslist, so the ad was likely flagged for that reason.
Seller has 2 M-38s and 3 CJ-2As for sale. The pics are upside down in the post.
