About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This here is an original Ford GPW JEEP body from 1942 WWII. Needs a lot of work but includes the body, both fenders, & hood.
***GRILL SOLD***
Also have other parts if interested.
I’m selling this as it is. Asking $300 for it”
Obviously, the windshield is from an M-38 or a reproduction.
“These are leftover parts from a restoration project I completed. The body is a CJ2A (the tail gate deleted). It’s in overall fair condition, and is still sound with mostly surface rust. However some “Bondo body work” was done to it and it’s quite thick in some places.
The hood is still in great shape with only a light layer of Bondo on top. It does have the traditional Willys script on it, and will fit most flat fender era Jeeps.
The fenders are CJ2A style, but should fit most flat fender era jeeps. They are also in good condition with little to no Bondo.
The windshield is in the best condition, with no Bondo, and the, presumably, original glass. It’s most likely an M38 windshield, but would fit any of the flat fender jeeps.
I was going to build another jeep, but as it turns out I’ve gotten too busy and it’s time to clean up the drive way. Sold as a bundle deal.”
“1949 Willys flat fender jeep for sale. Jeep does not run, but motor is free and there isn’t any reason it shouldn’t run, I just haven’t tried it yet. All original with everything here. Needs a restoration, in my opinion but I know some people have different taste. $2600, please don’t call unless your serious. If you suck at fixing things, this isn’t for you, buy a different one.”
Joe De Young spotted this trailer. It’s a good price. It appears one of the post bracket channels in the back was removed and replaced with a reflector.
“Photo shows the Irish young boys are studying mechanism of an American jeep. – Vintage photograph. While two Americans sailors recapture a bit of home by watching a game of American baseball at a Northern Ireland naval base, these Irish boys vastly prefer to study the mechanism of an American jeep. Keywords: people, men, sailors, American, sitting, watching, jeep, match, Irish, boys, children, together, mechanism, together, enjoying, smiling. Size of photo 6.8″ x 4.8″.”
Maury spotted these items. The 1/4 jeep looks almost like a high-hood, but given a Jeepster is shown, I’m guess it is actually a 2A or 3A. I would guess these are 1949 or 1950 containers.
“Runs and drives, good round town truck. I saw one sell for almost twice what I’m asking. This truck is not restored, great attention getter. The rust area is about four inches long and is on a flat area by the door”
