About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

2 tubs, one fiber glass, one metal coated with fiberglass (used as blank)
Windshields that need glass
Buckets of random parts electrical, bell housings, turn signal controls, brakes, tailgates, heater boxes, fenders, lights Lots and lots of stuff. I will take the loss on the price to make room in the barn for my new project” Continue reading →
“Heres a project body from an original “lefty” 48 2a. Bow pockets are on the passenger side and spare tire is on the drivers side. The rear bow pocket is missing but the front is there. Its rough and needs work but its a good start if your looking for an original lefty body. Pick up in CT. Asking $400 obo. I would also trade for an early (VEC) cj2a windshield”
“CJ2A hardtop full length, needs some work no doors but is a great start for someone, $100 or trade for other parts. Looking for an engine and front seats”
“What I have for sale is my 1951 Willys Crawler. Here’s the build list… Titled 1951 Jeep CJ3A 3RZ engine, AW4 tranny, NWF Eco Box, Dana 300 with a 4-1 kit Triple Stick shifter. Front axle is a Dana 60 35 spline inner and outers with Yukon slugs 5.38s and a Detroit locker. Steering is fully Hydraulic using Trail Gear and Eaton parts. Tires are some pretty crappy 38×13.00-16 swampers on stock style wheels (really the only bad thing on it…
No winch will be on it. Nor will the Pitbulls/Iroks that are also pictured. Basically, if I didn’t mention it and you see it in a picture, please ask about it.”
I am surprised that there was so much scrap on the ground. It sounds like this device could have paid for itself in tires alone. This was published in the August 20, 1943, issue of the Key West Citizen.
“For Sale, two 1942 GPW Jeep’s. Both have rust but would be a good project. The blue one is a very rare Willys frame with Ford S/N and with a title. The other GPW is for parts and no title.
$3,500 for both. Located in Centralia. Serious buyers only. Thank you”
(03/10/2020) Jeff’s selling this nicely refurbished CJ-3B with a PTO winch. It appears to have a reproduction body.
“1953 Willys Jeep CJ3B High Hood. 4740 miles since 2010 restoration. Rebuilt Hurricane engine with 12 volt system. Original Harrison heater and Ramsey PTO winch. Rear seat with locking compartment. Original running gear with Warn locking hubs. Owned since 1989, always garaged. Receipts. Runs, drives, and stops like it should. Nice example that is ready to enjoy.”
