This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Complete Frame-Off restoration completed in 2018. Motor, transmission, transfer case, front and rear end are original equipment. It has 24,000 original miles. This is a no rust Jeep. It is equipped with an overhead cam 4 cylinder engine. The Jeep shifts great, motor has excellent compression. The transfer case is smooth in low range or high range 4 wheel drive. The frame was sanded and repainted and no rust was evident. New gas tank, brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, hoses and belts. New paint is correct military specs for this authentic Korean War Period Jeep. The interior is new with correct seats. It has the original 24 volt system that works without a flaw. This Jeep has a clean title showing it was purchased from the US Government. Equipped with a new full canvas top. Runs and drives great.”
ModMike spotted this one. The Vin indicates this is a 1966 CJ-5 Tux Park. It might be good for some parts. It runs.

Something a little different …. According to Autoeveolution.com, there’s been an increasing number of “Jeep Willys builds” at drag strips. A digital artist, Yasid Oozeear, decided to render a drag jeep with a WWII look (this is an illustration, not an actual build).

Possibly a Holden Jeep?
UPDATE II: **Status Unknown. Was listed at $29,500 in Feb of 2020.
UPDATE: This was for sale in June of 2019 for $10k. Now it’s on sale for $29,500. This is a replica that reportedly was built for the museum. It wasn’t used on the actual show, based on the ads for this jeep that we’ve previously seen. The original Nelly Belle sold for $116,500 in 2010 and, subsequently, for $38,400 in 2018.

(from the 2019 ad) “This 1946 CJ-2A is an exact replica of the Jeep Nellybelle used in the Roy Rogers’ TV Show of the 1950’s. It was commissioned by Roy Jr., aka Dusty Rogers. It was used at the Roy Rogers Museum for the children to climb into so that the original Nellybelle would not get all that “abuse”. We have the Certificate of Authenticity as well as pictures we took with Dusty and his son, Dustin. We are also friends with the fine gentleman who built this jeep for Dusty.
It runs well, smokes a little (it’s old enough and Dusty said it always smoked).”
This GPW was supposedly found in Tunisia and restored in Italy. It will go up for auction in Germany (if I understand correctly) March 26-27.
