About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Parts are parts, some axles listed. Price is about what I expect for the unknown. Plus always good to have a few sets of Axles in your collection! Why did I buy these again?
Information from seller:

The Dana axles are from a 1950s Willys Jeep CJ3
The rear axle pinion moves but I think the brakes are locked up
The front axle pinion doesn’t move
Nice Willys, listed as a M38 Tub titled as a CJ2A. Sharp looking for sure.
Information from seller:
Don’t ask if it’s available. You MUST be able to pass a background check to gain access to Fort Benning to see/drive it. If you want an old Willys this is the one. Absolutely rust free body. I had it down to bare metal and there are no repairs or patch panels that I could identify. It has a M38 tub but titled as a 1946 CJ2A.
This was purchased by my grandfather new. Serial number 19171. Camper shell has been on the trailer for decades and interior of bed is in great condition. Everything looks original aside from some some spray paint and tires. Minimal rust and no holes.
Wagon with rounded wheel wells. I scratched my head for a day or two, now I see the bodywork on the rear quarters…
Information from seller:

Willys Jeep Traveller Roof Rack $1,000 or OBO or Trade Spokane, WA
This was posted on OWF by a member who ran across this and was going to use it for a build but these are special to the 4WD Traveller model that was used more as a transport and was a mix of a Wagon, Parkway Conversion had Barn Doors and round wheel wells. They are a really neat model of Willys. Pair them up with the 230 and these are really cool rigs, so only fitting that someone who could maybe use this for their build has a shot at it.
Both of my Wagons are ’63 and have the lower ribbed roof, the Delivery would have used the tall non ribbed roof, so before you toss some Willys Bucks at this beware, you probably need to have at least an older pre 1958 Wagon with the tall roof. I would be very intrigued to see if Willys did any support under the roof for the Traveller model, or if it was all on the design to push the weight to the sides as shown. I’ve cleaned my roof a few times and it’s really fragile up there, I really have to take care not to put any kind of real pressure on the roof in general. Not sure on the other roofs, let me know if they are that much stronger.
Or if you have a Traveller and can take some shots of the inside roof where this would go on a 4WD Traveller that would help.
Here is the go to thread on all things Traveller on OWF.
I have a rare Traveler Edition roof rack I was going to use on my build, but it should really go to a restoration of an actual Traveler Jeep Willys Wagon. 1000 obo, or let’s trade… (for some Jeep parts: 1949-50 Jeepster hood W/ bar ornament, Jeepster grill insert/overlay, 1949/50 Jeepster flat-style front fenders) Zip code 99206
Tim’s Notes: This has most of what it says it does.
Seats are original looking.
Gauges look great.
Plow with Correct Plow Frame that comes to the cab area.
PTO is really cool.
Heater
Glove Box Tags
Horse Hair stuff between the Radiator and Front Grill!
Frame and undercarriage look solid.
Spare Tire Mount looks all there.
Sideview mirror is correct.
Trim all on the inside looks correct and present.
Interior original Paint is fantastic! Potomac Gray and the Luzern Red
Engine Bay Patina is great as well.
6 Volt, VR is there (those are a chore to do solo on these)
Data Plate is there under the hood drivers side.
Hood Trim, Spear, Interior Trim Parts, Small doors and hardware all there as well.
Column Shift
Things that are little different then stock:
Fuel System has a small electric pump, (not a horrible idea!)
Don’t see the actual horn.
Missed it, its tucked behind the oil filter and looks correct!
Some of the electrical controls have been swapped. (A long time ago, very vintage!)
Extra lights on the fenders, (again way cool looking to me)
Super neat turn signal, I have not seen that version before, it’s neat!
Oil Filter is remote mounted. (not sure that really matters but on my L134 the Oil Pressure can use all the help you can give it, these are not full flow filters anyway from what I recall, so might not really matter how far you mount this from the block, will defer to others on that point)
early pickup with rear pto gearbox and drum pulley
Information from seller:
Up for sale is a 1949 Willy’s truck that’s a true survivor. All original besides a repaint roughly 20 years ago. Truck runs, drives and stops but could use a thorough comb to make it road worthy. Has a rebuilt carb, new starter, fuel pump and a basic tune up kit all done roughly 3 years ago. Has a pto off the back that was still operational a few years back, just haven’t used it since. Truck is stored inside. It’s very solid. With minimal surface rust, zero rot. Come take a look starting at $18,000 or best offer.
