This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Before you think that’s to much… This classic Jeep has some very good features:
-very well installed Buick odd-fire v6. Runs excellent. NO damage to firewall. Amazing power.
-full lift kid
-rebuilt transmission
-11” brakes (will fling your dentures if not careful)
-excellent classic Warn winch with original Warn controls inside cab
There is a bit of rust in passenger floor but nothing not easily unrepairable. Otherwise good body.
-new radiator and battery
-will include traditional hardtop
You could easily drive her home (but I’d wear a coat!) Tires on the Jeep are negotiable. Have an essentially new Overdrive setup that could be included. Read Less”

Original flathead engine and 4×4 transmission
Restored with fiberglass tub, new wheels, tires, brakes and brake lines, fuel pump and lines, carburetor, alternator, battery.
Registered, inspected, everything works great.”

“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2 with rare military aluminum top with upgraded engine. Engine is a 1950 170 (2.8L) I6 @85hp Studebaker engine number #778167. New tires, and recent military paint job. This rig is ready for the outdoors in any season. The Arctic Top was made by Willys for the M38 military jeeps in 1950 and is considered the best top ever made for that era jeep. Floor pans and rust areas repaired. Tires are Hillner Directional mud and snow 6.50 x16LT 6ply on original rims. Front seat belts and ball hitch have been added, however the rest is stock 1948 Willys CJ2. Recent repairs include brake hydraulic system, motor mount, charging system, carburetor rebuild, fuel pump and battery cables.
This is offered as fund raiser for Western Antique Air and Auto Museum. It may be insprcted and tested at 1600 Air Museum Rd in Hood River, Or. Asking 7200, or test and make offer.”
UPDATE: It was probably painted within the last six months. This may have some Allstate or Husky hubs.

This is a project, but does have the early 0-10 King Sealy speedometer. If the rust is light, there could be value here.

“I can’t seem to get any more pictures uploaded so for the ones that wanted the pictures I’ll try to send through message.May trade for? Just let me know what you have. It is still 6 volt. Hasn’t ran in eight years I’ve got another one and I planned on tearing this one down and restoring it and making it look pretty never got around to it it is a project and it does need work does have a title. It does need all new wiring harness the seats need to be completely redone missing the pedals lost them after moving it a couple times over the years frame solid does need body work on the bottom of the cab. I’m sure there’s a few things I’m missing but it is what it is so please don’t waste my time.i don’t have to get rid of it”
