Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A very solid project with 4 brand new racing seats ( with mounts and slides) I have a sbc350 and a 6.2 diesel and transmission either can go with it the jeeps already set up for the motor and trans just have to be dropped in! I was going to bed liner the inside throw the seats and a bunch of speakers on the roll bar but no time! Come get it may trade offer what you have!”

“Project Jeep Sitting on f350 frame”
This April 16, 1949, article in the Portland Press Herald highlighted critic complaints about several new sedan delivery wagons purchased for use as police vehicles. There was some concern that these new patrol vehicles would be unable to catch modern hot rods. In response, the police chief reminded his critics that this was an experiment.
You will note that there is a black blotch covering a small portion of the second part of the article, but I don’t think anything important is lost with it there.
At $1499.99, the price on this is a head -ratcher. But, it is an unusual and interesting brochure. It reminds me of the Willys airborne prototype called the Jeeplet or the WAC. Here’s a short video with some pics of it.

Somewhat modified MB that appears well-loved. The window flares on the wise of the windshield are a unique addition. I could see those being handy.
